As the main transmission component in the industry,the importance of gears has become increasingly prominent.Among them,non-circular gears have attracted wide attention because they can realize the function of gear ratio transmission.Due to the advantages of smooth transmission and various transmission forms,non-circular gears are widely used in military,instrument and other industries.However,due to the complexity of the curve shape and tooth profile,the research of non-circular gears is still focused on the design.The processing difficulties have hindered the promotion and application of non-circular gears.Hobbing is an efficient gear manufacturing technology.It has broad application prospects in the processing of non-circular gears,but research on non-circular gear hobbing processing technology at home and abroad is far from enough.Therefore,this dissertation studies the non-circular gear hobbing related technology,and develops the hobbing function software based on the SIEMENS numerical control system.It has theoretical significance and engineering application value for promoting the progress of the non-circular gear precision hobbing technology.The main contents of the paper are as follows:(1)Non-circular gear hobbing process is simplified and modeled.Firstly,using the tool rack to simplify the hobbing process,which is prepared the mathematical model;then analyzing the hobbing movement relations between the straight tooth non-circular gear and the helical non-circular gear,and deducing the non-circular gear hobbing linkage mathematical model of straight gear and helical gear.(2)Non-circular gear section curve is fitted.Firstly,reconstructing the non-circular gear section curve by the segmented cubic spline fitting method,then designing a special electronic gear box transmission scheme for non-circular gear hobbing based on the fitting curve and the linkage model.(3)Non-circular gear hobbing linkage model is verification through simulation and the key hobbing process is researched.Firstly,using MATLAB to simulate the noncircular gear hobbing machining linkage model after section curve fitting,the simulation results are compared with the theoretical tooth profiles to verify the correctness of the theory;then studying the key process of non-circular gear hobbing processing and making a three-dimensional solid simulation of non-circular gear hobbing process(4)Function software development of non-circular gears CNC hobbing.Developing elliptical gear hobbing function software according to the elliptical gear hobbing theory and process,and developing human-machine interface(HMI)and NC program based on SIEMENS 840 Dsl CNC system.
