Since the global financial crisis began in late 2007,the overall export business of China's luggage companies has declined,and there is no apparent sign of recovery.Because of gradual improved technique and trade barrier to European and American markets,plus the malignant competition between enterprises in same industry due to overcapacity,since the worldwide financial crisis,the domestic enterprises of luggage focused on European and American markets get harder and harder on business development.Domestic and foreign researches on the business development strategy of similar luggage companies mostly focus on marketing,branding,and channel expansion.From the perspective of the company's own overall operations and value chain activities,research on the business development strategy of the company is rare.In view of this,the author conducts research from the perspective of internal business management,and seeks to find a suitable strategic model for the current business development of the export-oriented domestic luggage companies and provides theoretical guidance.The author reads a large number of related documents,industry journals and magazines,visits the export-oriented luggage enterprises in Guangzhou Huadu,Shenzhen Pinghu,Dongguan and other places in the domestic luggage industry,as well as consults with industry experts.Taking AC company for example,the company's macro external environment(PEST)and the industry environment(five force model)were analyzed to clarify the company's external opportunities and threats.At the same time,the main factors of the company's internal environment,such as human resources,organizational structure,production capacity,financial ability,corporate culture,and other items were studied,and the company's internal strengths and weaknesses were summarized.Based on the SWOT analysis of strategic research tools,the company compares SO,ST,WO,and WT strategic models,selects the business development strategy model that focuses on SO strategy,supplements ST and WO strategies,and proposes corporate strategic vision and mission.The target market and target customers were repositioned,and the business development strategy was determined based on the competition model of the cost-leading strategy.It analyzes the main activities in the company's value chain that have high correlation with costs,such as human resources and organizational structure,product design,supply chain and procurement,material cost control in the production process,labor cost control in the production process,technology and efficiency,total quality management,e-commerce marketing channels,corporate culture construction,etc.and it puts forward specific operational measures for the cost control and conservation of these value chain activities to reduce the overall value chain costs to ensure the implementation of cost-leading strategies and improve the company's cost competitiveness to ensure the development of the company's luggage business.
