Due to the good biocompatibility,high and low temperature stability,high permeability,non-toxic and the similarity to human facial skin,etc,silicone rubber becomes the most common maxillofacial superstructure materials.However,silicone rubber superstructure materials that used in maxillofacial or mouth are vulnerable to many kinds of bacteria adhesion,which easily leads to infection or denture stomatitis patients received.Although the current use of silicone rubber superstructure materials has its antimicrobial properties modified,its antibacterial effect still is not very ideal,and the lasting of antibacterial effect is short which limits its clinical application.In this paper,we firstly used three oxygen ethyl vinyl silane on silver titanium dioxide?TiO2-Ag?modification to improve its dispersion in the silicone rubber and invasive.Then ve adopted the active index,ir analysis,electron microscope scanning,and minimum bactericidal concentration?MBC?to validate the effect of the modified materials.The experimental results show that using vinyl triethoxy silane to modify nanometer TiO2-Ag antimicrobial agent,through infrared spectra analysis and SEM analysis that nano TiO2-Ag antimicrobial successful modification,and modification is before modification dispersion has great changes.Through active index analysis,the modified TiO2-Ag antimicrobial activity index rose to 93.8%,the modification effect is good,and the minimum bactericidal concentration test shows that modification will not affect TiO2-Ag antimicrobial antibacterial effect.Then,we used the silicone rubber superstructure materials without antimicrobial agent?SRPM?as the benchmark,use the silicone rubber superstructure materials with nano TiO2-Ag antimicrobial antibacterial?ASRPM-I?and different amount of modified Ti02-Ag antimicrobial antibacterial separately as the experimental groups and generate SRPM I and cell adhesion are tested,in order to represent ASRPM and the compatibility of human cells.The experimental results show that using the modified TiO2-Ag antimicrobial preparation ASRPM-II compared to using unmodified TiO2-Ag antimicrobial preparation ASRPM-I increases the tear strength by 12%on average.The average tensile strength is increased by 23%.Elongation atbreak is increased by 12%on average,the average hardness is increased by 1.7%,and the matching of falling ball is rebound by 8%.properties,and modification,ASRPM-II antibacterial effect is better than ASRPM,and the antibacterial effect could last longer.The thermal stability of SRPM ASRPM-I and ASRPM-IIthe are similar.ASRPM-II decomposes 50%at about 380?,at 420? decomposes heavily,at about 600?decomposed completely,which is is slightly better than ASRPM-I.The same characteristic of ASRPM-I is slightly better than the SRPM,;Use,The in vitro cytotoxicity test result of the modified TiO2-Ag antimicrobial preparation HASRPM is non-toxic,and cell adhesion effect is good.
