With the continuous transformation and upgrading of the automobile industry in China,how to improve the processing quality and processing technology of the key parts of the camshaft is one of the key problems to be solved urgently.The motion performance and the complex working environment of the camshaft provide a more rigorous manufacturing requirement for the camshaft profile.However,due to the fact that the camshaft belongs to the slender rod member,its have poor grinding machinability and the complex contour surface brings great difficulties to the grinding process,which makes the workpiece surface easily corrugated during high-speed grinding of the camshaft.Therefore,this paper takes the surface waviness of the camshaft high speed grinding as the research object,Through the analysis of the influencing factors of the surface waviness during the high-speed grinding of the camshaft,the theoretical and experimental research on the surface waviness of high-speed grinding of camshaft has been carried out.The optimization strategy of camshaft high speed grinding process is optimized by surface waviness control,so as to provide theoretical guidance for improving camshaft high speed grinding surface waviness.Firstly,the high-speed CNC X-C two-axis coupled linkage grinding process of the camshaft was analyzed in this paper.The influence of the camshaft contour shape,the dynamic stiffness and elastic yielding,the vibration of the process system and the wear of the grinding wheel on the waviness of the camshaft in the high-speed grinding process was discussed.The measurement and evaluation method of surface waviness was analyzed,and the calculation method of high-speed grinding surface waviness of camshaft based on Motif algorithm was studied.Secondly,the high speed grinding waviness experimental platform for camshaft was built in this paper,and the experimental data acquisition method of camshaft high-speed grinding,elastic yielding displacement and grinding process experiment signal was determined.the surface waviness of camshaft high-speed grinding was studied by the design of the grinding idle test experiments,the grinding elastic yielding experiments,the grinding vibration test experiments,and the grinding process parameter optimization experiments.Finally,the experimental research on the camshaft high speed grinding waviness was carried out on the high speed grinding waviness experimental platform for camshaft.The elastic yielding displacement and vibration signals of the technology system were studied by time domain and frequency domain analysis method.The dynamic stiffness of camshaft high-speed grinding process system is calculated.and the change law of the elastic retreat displacement of the camshaft high-speed grinding system was obtained.and the effects of process parameters on the elastic yielding of the grinding,the vibration of the process system and the surface waviness were discussed.Under the premise that the workpiece surface roughness meets the processing requirements,the optimization strategy of the camshaft grinding parameters based on the surface waviness control was proposed.
