| With the rapid development of modern industry,a variety of environmental pollution has become more and more serious,in which water pollution is particularly prominent.It is necessary to prevent and control the water pollution,which not only affects the environment,but also greatly endanger human health,and water quality monitoring system is one of the essential key link.The traditional water quality monitoring methods are mainly manual off-line operation and on-line monitoring: due to field sampling,manual off-line operation makes the operator’s more workload and longer monitoring period.Thus this approach can not timely find water pollution and lack of real time.Water quality on-line monitoring method makes use of cable transmission.It has cockamamie wiring and high cost,so not conducive to popularization.With the rapid development of wireless sensor technology,it provides a new approach for water quality monitoring.The rapid development of wireless sensor network technology provides an effective solution to solve the above problems.LoRa is a kind of long-distance,low-power,low transmission rate,low complexity and low cost wireless communication technology in recent years.It is very suitable for remote wireless water quality monitoring.Based on the characteristics of wireless sensor networks,their application fields and the analysis of the water environment and the surrounding factors,this paper proposes a water quality monitoring system based on wireless sensor network.To achieve remote and effective monitoring and management of water quality,the system collects the water quality parameters of the monitored waters through the sensor nodes,and then transmits the data to the background monitoring and management center through the gateway nodes in real time.The focus of this paper is the application of LoRa wireless networking technology in remote water quality monitoring.First of all,we carried out the selection of the main components,with the SX1278 chip as the core,we completed the LoRa module hardware design.Secondly,we determined the network mode of the system,the operation mode of each node on the network,the workflow,the communication protocol,the design of the comunication conflict prevention based on the address filtering strategy,time division multiple access strategy,and the design of node software program.Finally the test of module communication distance,the test and estimation of module power consumption,the test of acquisition and transmission of water quality information,and the test of the performance of network communication are carried out.Experiments verify that the application of LoRa technology in the remote water quality monitoring is feasible and reliable. |
