Severe accidents are easily triggered during the production of solid propellant which involved flammable,explosive and toxic dangerous goods.In order to reduce the potential risk in the production of solid propellant,according to its characteristics,HAZOP-LOPA-SIL method,BZA-2 method and gray analytic hierarchy process were applied to evaluate the safety of the improved production system of the high-speed solid propellant in this work.The evaluation results are of great significance to guide the safe production of solid propellant.By employing HAZOP-LOPA-SIL method,the potential hazard sources in the kneading process of the improved high-speed solid propellant were analyzed.Furthermore,the effective of existing protection measures and the security integrity level of added protection layer were determined.The results indicated that it was necessary to add some safety facilities,such as automatic feeding system,feeding screen and electrostatic test instrument,to the kneading production process.BZA-2 method was used to analyze,the internal and external hazards of the premixing process and the kneading process for the improved high-speed solid propellant.Compared the evaluation results of the improved kneading process with those before the improvement,it was found that the improved system can effectively reduce the risk of kneading production process.Based on the theory of analytic hierarchy process,a safety evaluation model for the improved production system of the high-speed solid propellant was established.Through the comparison between the indexes of the model,the weight of each index was calculated.At the same time,the safety compliance of each index was scored by professional staffs.Then,the index weight and average score were applied in the gray theory to comprehensively evaluate the improved production system of the high-speed solid propellant.The result was 76.07,according to the defined security level,the safety grade of the production system was moderate.Finally,corresponding safety optimization suggestions on the security defects in the system were put forward.
