Design Of DCS Monitoring System For TiCl4 Production Plant

TiCl4 is an essential intermediate in the production of titanium metal and its compounds.with the increasing demand for high-end titanium materials in the fields of aerospace,marine engineering and other scientific and technological fields,the method of producing TiCl4 has been continuously improved.In order to improve the production quality and efficiency of TiCl4,a distributed monitoring system of TiCl4 production unit is designed for the project of producing TiCl4 in a chemical plant.According to the technological process and control requirements of TiCl4 produced by manufacturers,this theme divides the production monitoring system of TiCl4 into two parts:lower computer and upper computer.The lower computer adopts SHCAN series intelligent measurement and control module,by drawing the double circuit diagram and terminal wiring diagram,designing the configuration table of the lower machine,the collection and control of the important parameters such as temperature,pressure and flow rate in the production process of TiCl4 are completed.The upper computer communicates with the lower computer through the network card,the creation of FIX communication variable table makes the real time database address of the upper computer correspond to the address of the database of the lower computer.After the establishment of the real time database,the functions of man-machine interaction,real-time monitoring and fault alarm are realized by using the FIX configuration software.The scheme of the monitoring and control system is combined with the engineering project to install and monitor the intelligent components.The practical results show that the monitoring system meets the requirements of safety,stability and high precision in industrial field control.
