China is not only a big producer of ceramic tiles,but also the largest ceramic wall and tile consumption market in the world.Using standard testing instruments to determine whether the geometric sizes of ceramic tile products produced by many manufacturing enterprises meet the national standard is a problem to be solved urgently.At present,there are few measurement parameters can be measured in the same time currently to characterize the geometrical parameters of ceramic tile,and there is no measurement scheme including the thickness detection.The inspection department still adopts the manual measurement verification.In order to change the current situation,meet the needs of the automatic comprehensive measurement of all parameters proposed by the inspection department,this paper analyzed the principle,main measurement parameters,advantages or disadvantages of the existing ceramic tile size measurement methods based on the national standard for ceramic tile geometric size in China and the actual work needs of the inspection department at present.Then,the system structure and calibration plan of comprehensive measuring instrument for geometrical parameters(including length,width,thickness,curvature and war-page)of ceramic tile are put forward,according to the national standard [GB/T3810.2-2016].The concrete work of this paper includes: 1)The structure of comprehensive measuring instrument for geometrical parameters of ceramic tile is designed according to the design principles of the measuring and controlling instrument.2)The studies such as how to realize the non-interference design of the functional mechanical structures,simultaneous measurement for multi parameters,mechanical motion process planning are carried out by using SOLIDWORKS modeling method.3)Moreover,analyses on the selection basis and detection method of the functional components are described,and the experimental researches are carried out.4)The related experimental results are analyzed and the overall schemes of installation and test are designed finally.
