Rotary kiln is widely used in building materials industry,metallurgical industry and chemical industry.As the critical equipment,the failure of rotary kiln may lead to significant production accidents,causing huge economic losses to cement plant.For a long period,the identification for rotary kiln operating state remains in a passive detection stage.The early failure of rotary kiln can not be recognized in time.With the increment of cement plant automation technology requirements,the proactive condition monitoring for rotary kiln has gradually become an inevitable trend.Therefore,researches on kiln fault feature extraction and on-line monitoring system are conducted in this thesis.The main research work is summarized as follows:(1)By making simplifying assumptions,a vibration model of roller is established,and a simulation experiment based on the vibration model is carried out.The roller displacement regularities under different failures are pointed out to establish the failure model of rotary kiln.The correctness of proposed vibration model is verified by comparing the frequency components and the magnitudes of characteristic harmonics,which provides theory basis for the study of rotary kiln monitoring method based on EMD and the energy distribution of characteristic harmonics method.(2)Several signal processing methods are compared to validate the advantages of the EMD method for the analysis of the roller displacement signal.Based on EMD method,An energy distribution of characteristic harmonics monitoring method is proposed,and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by experimental comparison and analysis.Considering the inadequacies of EMD method,FEEMD method is introduced and the parameter optimization analysis based on FEEMD is carried out.Compared with the decomposition results,the parameter optimized FEEMD method can accurately and efficiently extract the fault characteristic information in roller displacement signal.Finally,a fault diagnosis process for rotary kiln on-line monitoring system is proposed.(3)A rotary kiln monitoring system is designed.The overall architecture and the hardware design of the monitoring system are briefly introduced.The software design based on Actor Framework is mainly introduced,including the function of each module and the interface design.A test system is designed to verify the effectiveness of the designed system.The kiln monitoring system is tested in the laboratory environment,and the results meet the proposed software requirements.In summary,the monitoring system provides a basic technical scheme for condition monitoring of rotary kiln,which has theoretical research and practical engineering significance...
