Relative to traditional metal materials,light weight,high-strength composite materials have qualities of light mass,higher specific strength,higher specific modulus,higher corrosion resistance,better hurt-tolerant performance and many other advantages.In the aerospace and other high-tech areas,it has good application and development prospect Tubular structural members are important parts of the light weight composite structural parts.Tubular structural parts made by the method of three dimensional braided processes are reinforced in thickness(radial)direction,to overcome the disadvantage of poor performance in the traditional two-dimensional laminate layer.Therefore,the three-dimensional tubular braiding fabric has not only excellent the performance of the in-plane,while also improving the performance in the thickness direction.It provides a broader prospect for the application of composite materials.On the basis of comparison of existing three-dimensional braiding machine and their raiding theory,the paper explores the double two-step tubular 3-deminational braiding machine based on the double two step tubular 3-deminational braiding theory.The number of the yarn carriers that the new braiding machine has is two times than the traditional two-step braiding machine.Compared with traditional two-step braiding machine,in the premise of the same number of axial yarns,braider yarns content increases,so the performance of fabric braided by the new machine is improved.Preliminary design principle of the three-dimensional braiding machine is completed on the basis of the previously described process.Then combining domestic and foreign patent products,the paper analyses the characteristics of all kinds of braiding machine,and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages.Finally,put forward the cylindrical double two-step 3-dimension tubular braiding machine.The braiding machine has the following features:1)The braiding unit is arranged in a cylindrical shape,and can be expanded in the cylindrical axial direction.The braiding units are composed by two set of braiding plate,and the shape and size of the braiding plates won't change along the extension,achieving the modularization of the braiding unit.2)The two sets of braiding plate rotate alternatively pushing the yarn carriers finishing the braiding action.3)The yarn carriers get rid of the dependence on traditional groove track during braiding movement,increasing the braiding machine's flexibilityThe article also do research and optimize the location of the 3-dimension braiding machine's forming ring.Moreover the article put forward a new kind of yarn carrier to suit the 3-dimension braiding machine Based on the existing Spindle...
