A Research On The Influencing Factors Of Carbon Disclosure Quality In China's Agriculture-related Enterprise

The consequences of climate change is slowly eroding the survival and development of human society.As a way of dialogue between the enterprise and the outside world,carbon disclosure has been paid more and more attention by the government,the business community and the public.On the one hand,the enterprise of high energy consumption and high emission should bear the brunt by accountability.But as a member of a society economy,agriculture-related enterprise is unlikely to stay out of it.On the other hand,it is urgent to changing the development mode of agricultural and go on a new way with green and low carbon.As the main organization to gain agricultural economic benefits,agriculture-related enterprise plays an important role in the development of low carbon agriculture.Based on the perspective of low-carbon agriculture,the paper discusses the influencing factors of carbon disclosure quality in China's agriculture-related enterprise.Firstly,through the review of literature that related of agriculture-related enterprise information disclosure and carbon disclosure,we can understand the research status of this field and grasp the research direction.We clearly defines the research topics by defining the key words related to the information disclosure of agriculture-related enterprise and carbon information disclosure.Based on the theory of environmental economics,information asymmetry theory,stakeholder theory and corporate social responsibility theory,expounds the basic theories related to enterprise carbon disclosure,and provide theoretical support for the analysis of this problem deeply.Secondly,this paper discusses the factors that affect the quality of carbon information disclosure.Natural inferiority and weakness profitability in operation are the industry characteristics of agriculture-related enterprises.So it is favored by the national policy.Agriculture-related enterprise diversified business and even "non-agricultural" to find a new way out of trouble.Does government subsidies and diversification conducive to upgrade green ? Does government subsidies and diversification affect the quality of carbon disclosure ? This is also the basic starting point of this paper to explore the influencing factors of carbon information disclosure quality from the perspective of industrycharacteristics.At the same time taking the common factors of enterprise characteristics and internal governance variables into account.This paper selects the China's agricultural listed companies from 2008 to 2015 as the research sample.To evaluate the level of carbon disclosure of China's agriculture-related enterprise objectively,this paper using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process to construct evaluation index and then evaluate the quality of disclosure.The further empirical research by constructing a model to discuss how government subsidies and diversification effect on carbon disclosure quality.The empirical results show that the government subsidy has a positive impact on the quality of carbon disclosure of agriculture-related enterprise;Compared with the state-owned enterprises,the effect of government subsidies is more obvious than that of state-owned enterprises;Distinguished the market level,the effect of government subsidies is more obvious in the lower level market area.Diversification has a negative impact on the quality of carbon disclosure,but the negative effect is more obvious in profitable agriculture-related enterprise.Finally,according to the results of empirical research,we summarizes the full text and put forward the corresponding policy suggestions.It is the responsibility to saving energy and reducing emission of each enterprise,agricultural enterprises are no exception.We should enhance the awareness of low-carbon and improve the quality of carbon information disclosure in agriculture-related enterprise.The carbon disclosure norms should be perfected and the quality of disclosure should be improved.The quality of carbon disclosure requirements should be well defined and a scientific and rational evaluation system should be built.We also should regulate the behavior of government subsidies and improve the evaluation mechanism of the efficiency of capital use.Agriculture-related enterprise should carefully choose diversification strategy and reshape the agricultural sector "artisan spirit.
