Research On Process Improvement Of A Company Base On Lean Production

Lean production represents the current advanced production organization technology and management philosophy and it is widely using in manufacturing and service industry.By implementing lean production to re-design and/or optimize factory internal production system and up-stream to down-stream supply chain,it is great effectiveness to eliminate waste of whole supply chain,to reduce production cost,improve production quality,quickly respond of customers demand,enhance to achieve the best operation effect at whole production system.According current production management status of A company and identify process waste from production start point to finished good via Value Stream Mapping and analysis the root-cause of waste,to re-design new production process blue-print and then implemented it.The project achieved quit good finical result.Reducing production cost,improving product quality and delivery are the urgent task of A company.Taking MC4000 product for studying,to create pilot process flow by apply lean production.There are lots of non-value added activities in the current production.Via Value Stream Mapping,process flow chart,operation analysis and other lean tools to analysis the root cause of under capacity,long production lead time,unstable quality and high product cost,sequentially to purpose a sets of solution.By panning new capacity which base on history demand and forecast demand,improving production layout,applying smart line which designed with lean concept,to convert batch production flow to continuous flow.This lean improvement project had significant reduce product cost,improve quality and shorten production lead time.It also lay a very good foundation for A company to deploy continuous improvement activities at other product.
