Perfluoroalkylacids?PFCs?is a kind of important application value of fluorine-containing organic compounds,which exhibit unique properties such as hydrophobic and lipo phobic,and they contain one of the strongest chemicalbonds?C-F?known.PFCs is widely used in textile,papermaking,packing,pesticide,carpet,leather,floor polishing,shampoo and fire-fighting foams,ect.PFCs can sustain strong heat,light,chemical,microbial function and metabolism of higher vertebrates without degradation.It can be enrichment and magnified to very high concentration passing the food chain in body,and the accumulation of organism level higher than the persistent organic pollutants of organochlorine pesticides and dioxins about hundreds to thousands times.PFCs are reported to have hepatotoxicity,developmental toxicity and immune toxicity,endocrine disruptors and potential carcinogenicity.Food is the material basis for human survival and development.Food safety concerns everyone's health and has attracted more attention around the world.Hence,the study will develop methods for the simultaneous determination of 21 Perfluorinated Compounds using liquid chromatography coupled tandem mass spectrometry?LC-MS/MS?in animal liver and food packaging materials.The study developed a method for simultaneous determination of 21 Perfluorinated alkyl substances?PFCs?in bovine tissue using QuEChERs and LC-MS/MS technique was developed.Liver samples were extracted with 0.1%hydrochloric acetonitrile and cleaned up with C18,N-Propylethylendiamine?PSA?and graphitized carbon blacks?GCB?.Beef were extracted with 0.1%hydrochloric acetonitrile and cleaned up with liquid-liquid extraction.The analytes were separated by a reversed phase C188 column and gradiently eluted with 5 mmol/L ammonium acetate methanol and 5 mmol/L ammonium acetate.The samples were quantified using isotope internal standard and external standard with the matrix matched standard calibration curve method.Good linearities were obtained for all the 21 PFCs at the concentration of 0.1-10?g/L with the linear relative coefficients more than 0.9995.The limits of detection?LOD?and the limits of quantification?LOQ?for PFCS were 0.05-0.2?g/kg and 0.4-0.5?g/kg,respectively.The recoveries at three different concentration levels?0.5,2 and 5?g/kg?were in the range 71.1%112.4%and71.9%-115%in liver and beef,respectively.The relative standard deviation?RSD?were less than 15.1%?The study developed a method for simultaneous determination of 16 Perfluorinated alkyl substances?PFHxA,PFHpA,L-PFHxS,PFOA,L-PFHpS,PFNA,L-PFOS,PFDA,PFUdA,PFDoA,PFTeDA,PFHx DA,PFODA and L-PFNS?in food packing materials using LC-MS/MS technique was developed.The analytes were separated by a reversed phase C18column and gradiently eluted with acetonitrile and 5 mmol/L ammonium acetate.The samples were quantified using isotope internal standard and external standard with the standard calibration curve method.Good linearities were obtained for all the 16 PFCs at the concentration of 0.1-10?g/L with the linear relative coefficients more than 0.99.The limits of detection?LOD?and the limits of quantification?LOQ?for PFCs were 0.2-0.5?g/kg and 0.4-1.0?g/kg,respectively.The recoveries at three different concentration levels?0.5,2 and 5?g/kg?were in the range 70.3%-108.1%in packaging bag;71.3-107.5%in packaging box and 73.4%-102.4%in plastic bottle,respectively.The repeatabilities expressed as relative standard deviations?RSD?were ranged from 2.1%to 11.9%.The relative standard deviation?RSD?were less than 19.2%?In conclusion,by studying deeply on extraction and purification,analytical methods were developed for the simultaneous determination of PFCs in animal liver and food packaging material.The results demonstrated that the methods were sensitive,reliable,rapid,effective and met the requirement of residue determination.
