Research On Contract Risk Management Of International Oil EPC Project General Contractor

EPC management model has been widely used in international oil projects in recent years because of its simple working interface,easy operation and low risk to owners.China's Petroleum Company is intended to make a place in the overseas market.However,facing the uncertainty of many foreign projects and the lack of its own experience,the oil companies that first walked out of the country have suffered a lot of losses and accumulated a lot of experience and lessons,gradually realizing that they must be familiar with the EPC management mode and carefully study contract risk control under EPC management mode.This paper firstly interprets the characteristics and significance of EPC general contract management is discussed,and then combined with the actual work,the risks from the perspective of the contractor identification contract life cycle,then the main risk for each stage of contract research and discussion,and make a comparison for the EPC project and contract management the content and the present stage of China's oil industry,EPC project contract management,find out the same and different points,the theoretical basis to deal with all kinds of risks are.Finally,taking an international petroleum EPC project as an example,this paper studies the contract risk management of EPC project general contractor,and puts forward the measures of risk aversion.Through the study of contract risk in the field of EPC petroleum engineering,this paper aims at refining some useful experiences through analyzing and summarizing the current situation of related industries,providing some reference and reference for the prevention and control of international oil project contract risk in the future of the domestic EPC general contractor.
