The recycled gable-top carton(RGC)and high density polyethylene(HDPE)can be used as the main raw material by extrusion granulation and injection molding method for the preparation of paper plastic composite materials.For this special waste paper fiber,this research explored the best solution to make the packaging containing low density polyethylene(LDPE)dispersed by chemical reagent pretreatment method,and the microscopic performance of the dispersed fiber was analyzed.On the basis of paper fiber dispersion,The physical properties,mechanical properties and thermal properties of the composites were investigated from two aspects of the production process parameters and the formulation parameters.(1)Pretreatment with sodium hydroxide reagent is an effective way to make RGC dispersed.Under the condition of the concentration of 3.5%sodium hydroxide,the bath ratio is 1:12,soaking 40min at room temperature,then we can obtain recycled gable-top carton fibers with better dispersibility.(2)Through FTIR?XRD?Microscopic analysis,after the pretreatment conditions of 3.5%sodium hydroxide concentration of paper fiber has a good dispersibility;which was similar to wood fiber in morphology;the ingredient of paper fibers was not changed,fibers swelling increasing and the surface defects disappeared after crushing;the crystallinity decreased 1.2%.(3)Through the results of orthogonal testing,we can make a conclusion for the best way to preparation the materials:The 1~5 temperature of the Extruder is 150?,155?,160?,165?,160?;the speed of Extruder is 16rpm;the temperature of the Injection is 170?,170?,170?;the pressure of Injection is 9.5 MPa.(4)Through the analysis of water absorption,mechanical properties and SEM of the paper-plastic composite materials by different RGCF and MAPE additions,we known that the best ratio for RF/P is 5:5,and the content of MAPE is 5%.Under this condition,the bending strength of composites was 33.82 MPa,the bending modulus was 2986.10 MPa,the tensile strength was 23.90 MPa;the iMPa ct toughness was 8.39 KJ/m~2,24h water absorption rate was 2.12%,24h thickness swelling rate was 0.86%.(5)Through the thermal analyzing of TG,DTG,DSC.While the adding amount of RGCF increased,the thermal stability of the composites decreased,as well as the crystallinity.When the small amount of LDPE and some residued NaOH contained in the raw material greater than 60%,Meanwhile,it has some iMPa ct on the mechanical properties and thermal properties of composite materials.(6)Through the thermal analyzing of TG,DTG,DSC.The addition of MAPE was has almost no influence for the thermal stability.When the amount of MAPE from zero to one,the crystallinity of composite decreased;But the the crystallinity of composite increased firstly and then decreased with the amount increase of MAPE.
