Food packaging paper is widely used in the food packaging industry because of its environment friendliness, lower cost and wide application range etc.Food packaging paper is often subjected to special treatment including the addition of some functional additives to give it special performance.Meanwhile, paper packaging materials are often subjected to printing processing. The substances added in these processes may have potential dangers to consumers' safety.Isothiazolinones with potential genotoxicity and some metal salt compounds are commonly used as antibacterial agents in food packaging paper. Some packaging paper also contains a great deal of mineral oils(MOHs)which can accumulate in the human body leading to granuloma formation. Therefore it is important to study the migration and safety assessment of these substances in food packaging paper. The research content and main results of this thesis are as follows.(1)Ultrasonic extraction and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS)were used to detect 17 coated paper samples.Five of these samples contained 5-chloro-2-methyl-1-isothiazolin-3-one(CMI),and 2-methyl-1-isothiazolin-3-one(MI)antibacterial agent with concentration range between 397.6 and 1789.0 ?g/kg.The AKTS-SML software was used to simulate the migration of CMI and MI from paper through the coating to food simulant. The Piringer model was used to predict the diffusion of CMI and MI in paper and polyethylene respectively. The cumulative estimated daily intake(CEDI)of CMI and MI were below 0.1023 mg/person.day and 0.084 mg/person.day which met the requirement of Food Additive Safety Administration(OFAS),indicating that the risk of exposure was negligible.(2)The influence of temperature, time and thickness of the coating on the migration of metal elements Al and Mg from the coated paper cup was investigated. The migration of Al and Mg from 8 samples to 3% acetic acid solution at 40°C for 12 h were 0.077~0.212,0.065~0.862 mg/kg,respectively.The migration of Al and Mg from 8 samples to 3% acetic acid solution at 70°C for 8 h were 0.074~0.180,0.064~2.209 mg/kg,respectively.Migration simulation was performed on the above samples using the migration simulation software AKTS-SML.The simulation results of Al and Mg to 3% acetic acid solution at 40°C for 12 h were 0.041~1.230,0.023~9.642 mg/kg,respectively.The simulation results at 70°C for 8 h were 0.039~3.035,0.126~17.650 mg/kg,respectively.The simulation results of the software simulation were higher than those obtained by the experiment.(3)The factors affecting the migration of mineral oils(MOHs)in recycled paper and waxed paper to solid food simulants and the assessment of exposure risk levels were investigated. The results show that the temperature has a greater influence on the migration compared to time. When the migration temperature exceeded the melting point of the wax,the melt paraffin wax entered the solid food simulant. The migration of MOSH from 2 kinds of recycled paper at 70°C for 2 h or at 100°C for 1 h was studied respectively. The migration of MOSH from 12 kinds of waxed paper at 40°C for 10 day or at 70°C for 2 h was studied respectively.According to the daily allowable intake of mineral oil provided by JECFA,the EDI of MOSH from above experiments were higher than the standard, and the migration was also higher than the standard recommended by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment(BfR),but all of them was in accordance with the newest standard of German Ministry of Food and Agriculture(BMEL)about MOSH.
