A good performance management system can promote the learning and growth of employees and at the same time bring more benefit space for enterprises.The overall performance awareness of steel enterprises in China is relatively weak.The performance management of private steel enterprises starts later than the larger state-owned enterprises.Therefore,taking TangCheng Company of Tangshan Private Iron and Steel Enterprise as an example,this paper analyzes the problems existing in its current performance management system and designs a set of optimization and improvement scheme.First of all,this paper explains the research background and significance of performance management,and analyzes and compares the current research situation and research methods at home and abroad.Secondly,this paper analyzes the current situation of the performance management system of TangCheng Company,and finds out a series of problems in the performance management by deep interview.Including derailment with corporate strategic culture,imperfect performance management system,single index,lack of communication and feedback,understanding deviation of employees,and failure to effectively use the results of assessment,and so on.Aiming at these problems,this paper further clarifies the goal,principle and flow of TangCheng company performance management improvement.Based on the theory of KPI and BSC,the key performance index system is established from three levels: enterprise level,department level and employee level.And through five links to design the cycle process of performance management system,these five links include performance planning,performance implementation,performance appraisal,performance feedback and performance results,so as to perfect the improvement strategy,formulate the performance management system optimization and implementation scheme.Finally,from the organization,the system,the system,This paper discusses the suggestions for the implementation of TangCheng Company's new performance management system in terms of personnel and culture.In this paper,a scientific and operable optimization scheme of performance management system is established for small and medium-sized private iron and steel enterprises represented by TangCheng Company.In order to help them to improve the level of enterprise management has a strong practical significance.
