Acetamiprid,(E)-N-[(6-chloro-3-pyridinyl)methyl]-N'-cyano-N-methylethanimidamide,is a new broad-spectrum,highly efficient and safe insecticide,and has a certain acaricidal activity.It is widely used in the prevention and control of apHids,planthopper,and some other lepidoptera pests in the area of rice,vegetables,fruit trees and tea.In this research,synthesis of acetamiprid was studied and the synthesis technology consists of three steps.First,ethanol,acetonitrile,hydrogen chloride and cyanamide were used as raw materials to synthesize the intermediate ethyl N-cyanoethanimideate.Second,2-chloro-5-chloromethyl pyridine and methylamine were used as raw materials to synthesize the intermediate N-(6-chloro-3-pyridine methyl)methylamine.At last,the final product,acetamiprid,was prepared with intermediates ethyl N-cyanoethanimideate and N-(6-chloro-3-methyl pyridine)methylamine.In this study,the effects of different reaction temperature,time and material ratio on the synthesis reaction were discussed.The optimum technological conditions,including reaction temperature,time,solvent,etc,were achieved.Under the optimum technological condition,acetamiprid was obtained with yield of 85% and purity of 95%.The synthesis technology in this research is green,the reaction conditions are mild,and all raw materials are safe and easy to obtain.The research has important application value for the further optimization of the production process of acetamiprid and the reduction of cost.
