Mixed clarification tank is the earliest application and the most widely used a Step by step contact Extraction equipment.It has the advantages of high efficiency,strong adaptability,simple amplification and strong maneuverability.However,the clarification separation rate do not match the mixed extraction rate,resulting in rare earth high inventories,low production efficiency and other negative factors,this has become a bottleneck in the extraction industry.In this regard,we propose a new concept," Efficient new double-agitation separation extraction".By selecting the appropriate stirring conditions,to improve the clarification and separation rate of the aqueous phase and the organic phase in the extraction process,and to improve the efficiency of extraction equipment.Based on the existing research,with industrial mixed clarification extraction tank as the prototype,design and make a new mixing with clarification extraction tank,experimental tank:the ratio of the original tank is 1:5.Taking the methods of physical simulation and numerical simulation,to investigate the mixing performance and clarification performance of the new mixed clarification extraction tank,and use the dimension analysis method to establish the experimental parameters and clarify the separation between the functional relationship,lay a foundation for the industrial application of the new hybrid clarification extraction tank.The main results obtained are as follows:(1)The mixing effect of different stirring speed in mixing chamber was measured by conductivity method,the suitable mixing chamber stirring speed of 600 rpm was determined.(2)Determination of the water phase content of the oil phase outlet under the conditions of different stirring type,different stirring speed and different stirring blades position by Karl Fischer titration.The results show that,six-leaf straight-blade>four-leaf straight-paddle>two-leaf straight-paddle,six-leaf slanting paddle>four-leaf slanting paddle>two-leaf slanting paddle,And the clarifying effect of the inclined paddle is better than the clarifying effect of the straight paddle,that is,the best clarifying effect can be obtained by using the six-leaf slanting blade.When the stirring speed is 16.5 cm and the stirring speed is 10 rpm,the clarification effect is better than that of other stirring paddle position and stirring speed.(3)Through the cause analysis method,the effects of different physical parameters,different operating parameters and different process parameters on the separation efficiency of the extraction tank are investigated,and establish the quasi-numerical equation of the oil entrainment under the experimental conditions.two oblique leaf paddle:?= 0.31n-0.01l0.2;two straight impeller:?= 0.44n0.13l0.07four oblique leaf paddle:??0.29n-0.003l0 2;four straight impeller:?= 0.32n0.08/0.21Six oblique leaf paddle:? = 0.29n-0.03l0.18 six straight impeller:?= 0.22n0.07l0.3The calculated values are in good agreement with the experimental data.(4)Numerical simulation results show that increasing the agitation in the clarification chamber had no effect on the mixing chamber mixing effect,and the phase entrainment value at the outlet of the oil phase of the refining chamber is obviously reduced after the stirring.At the same time,compared with the stirring power of the mixing chamber,the stirring power of the refining chamber is very small,and the energy consumption is not increased,which is favorable for industrial application.
