Mixer-settler is the most widely used equipment in rare earth extraction industrial,which has a series of advantages for industrial mass production application.The research on fluid dynamics has a long history,especially the study on the mixing chamber has had a lot of important theory achievement,but to clarify chamber clarify process have been relatively few studies,to clarify the process of understanding is still stay in a low-level stage.In this paper,in order to install the vertical type damper to ascend to clarify the clarifying efficiency of chamber,using the Fluent software to clarify its effect is simulated,obtained the related parameters optimum installation height and baffle clarification effect.First of all,in this paper,based on the dispersion zone thickness,the velocity vector diagram and water phase export oil content of the three evaluation indexes,clarify chamber install damper is studied and not install baffle clarification effect contrast,results showed that the clarification chamber after installing baffle the indicators is not install baffle clarification chamber to improve a lot.In the process of research analyzes clarification at different stages of the process,point out the essential reason clear rate will decrease and proposed the corresponding solution.Later,in determining the efficiency of the baffle clarification chamber clarify better,after14 different baffle is studied to clarify the installation height of room,dispersion zone thickness contrast principle is used to determine the optimal damper installation height,with the best of 50 l extraction tank for the study of the object damper installation height is 310 mm.And select the baffle clarification chamber of three groups of more representative to the velocity vector diagram,analyses the different damper installation height on the influence of the droplet flow,the study found that baffles are installed too high easy form remaining in clarifying at the bottom of the chamber,too low,easy to increase the entrainment loss of phase,further proves the rationality of the optimal damper installation height.Finally,compared with the feed speed is studied in the two extraction parameters to clarify the relationship between the process and the installation height of baffle best,found that the impact is not big different compared to clarify the process but had a great influence on the best installation height of baffle,and different feeding speed has a great influence on clarification process but has no effect on the best installation height of baffle.Compared the influence of the concrete is: owing to different determines different theory of two phaseboundaries,and by compared with the optimal damper installation height should be equal to determine the height of the theory of two phase boundary;Already clarify the split phase completed two phase are particularly vulnerable to the impacts of large feed speed,so the choice of feed speed shoulds not be too big.The results of this article is combined with the actual production,and to clarify the research and development and application of the equipment has a certain reference significance.
