| Coiler is one of the important auxiliary equipment of steel rolling production line.It can tie up the strip into a coil tightly and in good shape without scratches,which is rolled by finishing mill.The coiler can directly affect the productivity of the mill,product quality and the profit margins.AJC control can solve the practical problem which results in impact to wrapper rolls by the strip head,so that product quality can be improved.Therefore,AJC control is of great significance for strip production.The control system of Ansteel 1700mm hot strip product line was designed by Ansteel Group Automation Company and put into operation at the end of 2010,which is still running well now.This line is able to produce hot-rolled strip with standard thickness from 1.2mm to 12.7mm and width from 900mm to 1550mm.The maximum strip coil weight is up to 27.8 tons.This paper,according to the fact of Ansteel 1700mm hot strip product line,introduces the development of coiling technology and also coiling facility and process in detail.It elaborates AJC control,system configuration,problems which need to be solved in control process,pressure,jumping scale and other control elements.The accurate calculation of roll gap and pressure between wrapper roll 1#to 3#and the coiler reel is introduced respectively,so that gap control accuracy can be further improved.Besides,this paper illustrated the cause of product defects such as coil's tower shape defect,unwinding defect,folding defect,roll stripe defect,press mark defect,etc.,and solutions to the defects above are given out here.Strip head tracking is a prerequisite of wrapper roll automatic jump control,automatic jump control can be more effective if strip head tracking is more precise.Based on the analysis of strip head tracking problems in the actual production process,this paper brings forward improving measures and proves that improved measure is effect by position curve comparison of the wrapper roll,which is meaningful to the hot strip mill production. |
