Since the magnetic tube was developed in 1921,it has been used to evaluate the suitability of iron ore for magnetic separation and to analyze the magnetic content of heavy medium magnet powder in heavy medium coal preparation.In the past 30 years,with the continuous development of various industries,magnetic tube have been applied in more and more industries,especially in the three aspects of mineral processing,biomedicine and environmental protection.However,there are currently few types of magnetic tubes on the market,and the highest magnetic induction intensity is only 350mT,which has completely failed to meet the needs of various industries.At present,there is not much research on the magnetic field structure parameters of the magnetic separation tube.Its research and development and production are based on past experience,and its structure has not been theoretically optimized,resulting in waste of materials and energy.In this paper,the magnetic induction strength of the magnetic tube is optimized to 1T by comparing the magnetic field strength of common magnetic minerals in wet magnetic selection and the needs of other industries.By analyzing the magnetic force of the magnetic mineral in the magnetictube,it is found that the magnetic force is determined by the product of the magnetic induction intensity and its gradient,and then the conclusion is verified in the ANSYS simulation.Through the analysis and calculation of the"C"type electromagnet,it is determined that the magnetic field strength at the center of the air gap is the highest when the magnetic pole cone angle is 109.4°.The structural calculation of the magnetic field of the traditional CXG350magnetic tube was carried out,and then the optimal structural parameters were determined in ANSYS.Finally,the correctness of the optimization was proved in the experiment.The optimized magnetic tube has a cylindrical magnetic pole radius of 45mm,an iron yoke section of 90×90 mm~2,a magnetic pole gap of 45 mm,and a total coil number of 25,000.
