The manufacturing of drag-reduced structured surfaces is a hot issue in the field of machining.Superabrasive processing is one of the effective ways to make structured surfaces.However,the plastic bulging during processing affects the surface quality of the structured surface,Therefore,it is of great significance to solve the problem of plastic uplift in the process of manufacturing structured surfaces.Magnetic abrasive polishing is an effective measure to solve the bulging deformation of structured surface.The structure and shape of the magnetic pole and the magnetic field distribution characteristics it produces are one of the key factors affecting the polishing efficiency and quality.In order to improve the polishing performance of the magnetic pole and improve the surface quality of the workpiece,this paper applies the model to the orderly arrangement of the magnets on the magnetic pole based on the biological leaf order theory,and a method for ordering the magnetic poles to polish the structured surface is proposed.The influence law of leaf order parameters on magnet arrangement is discussed.The advantages and disadvantages of leaf order,dislocation and array arrangement are compared.The three-dimensional model of magnet ordering magnetic pole is established by using three-dimensional design software.In order to explore the condition that the magnets are arranged to produce a uniform magnetic field,the magnetic field uniformity is simulated,and the influence of the parameters such as leaf order parameters and ordering on the uniformity of the magnetic field distribution is obtained.The orderly arrangement of magnetic poles was prepared by selecting a CNC milling machine,which proved the feasibility of applying leaf order theory to magnetic pole manufacturing.Magnetic abrasives are another important factor affecting the efficiency and quality of magnetic polishing.In this paper,a preparation method for manufacturing magnetic abrasives by using micro steel balls as abrasive magnetic carriers and elastic adhesive bonding abrasives is proposed.The microstructure of the magnetic abrasive was designed.The working specification of the abrasive was given.Elastic bonded magnetic abrasives were prepared and their polishing properties were further investigated through experiments.The experimental results show that the distribution ratio of the bonded magnetic abrasive has a significant effect on the surface morphology of the polished surface.The mass ratio of micro steel ball,binder and white fused alumina powder is 12:1:4 is the best ratio;polyurethane glue is used as the bonding agent.The preparation of magnetic abrasive can achieve better polishing effect;the workpiece rotation speed has a significant influence on the surface morphology of the polishing surface,and it is meaningful to select the appropriate rotation speed to reduce the surface roughness of the workpiece.Finally,the structured surface polishing experiment was conducted,the causes of polishing defects were analyzed and the expected morphology of the structured surface after polishing was obtained with the above magnetic poles and magnetic abrasives.It was proved that it is feasible to use the magnets with phyllotactic arrangement to polish the structured surface.Experimental results show that the polishing efficiency changes gradually from high to low with the increase of polishing time.;the polishing time is long enough to realize the finishing of the structured surface.
