The structured of mechanical parts can reduce drag force and wear.In order to obtain a specific structured surface,researchers mainly use processing methods such as imprinting,chemical etching,and laser processing.However,these processing methods may cause problems such as pollution emission,inefficiency,and high cost in mass production.In addition,laser processing consumes a large amount of energy,and chemical etching is difficult to control the precision of the microstructure.Imprinting can only process a few materials that are prone to plastic deformation,and cannot process hard surfaces such as hard and brittle materials.Superabrasive processing is one of the effective methods to solve the above problems,but the grinding process mainly relies on the manufacturing of structured grinding wheel.Therefore,how to manufacture a structured grinding wheel with a specific structure is the key to solve the above problems.In this paper,the Phyllotactic arrangement,arrayed arrangement and staggered arrangement are applied to the manufacture of structured grinding wheel.The structured grinding wheel with different abrasive clusters is fabricated by electroplating.Firstly,the surface mathematical model and motion model of three structured grinding wheels were established.The surface of the Cylindrical workpieces ground by three grinding wheels was simulated by MATLAB.The f ormation of dimple,bosses and grooves,and the depth of grinding were discussed.The effect of the speed ratio and the Phyllotactic coefficient on the surface topography of the workpiece;then the manufacturing process of the electroplated grinding wheel was analyzed and the structured grinding wheel with different Phyllotactic coefficients and different arrangements was fabricated to analyze the principle and process of the grinding wheel manufacturing process.The fault is solved.Finally,the corresponding grinding experiment is designed.The external workpiece is ground with three kinds of grinding wheels and the surface morphology of the workpiece is observed with the corresponding instrument to verify the correctness of the simulation results.The experimental results show that the smaller of the Phyllotactic parameter h.the denser of the dimple arrangement on the surface of the workpiece,and the smaller of the roughness value of a single dimple;The larger of the grinding wheel relative to workpiece speed ratio ?.the more of the circumferential groove number of the workpiece surface.the smaller of the single-dimple roughness value is,the smaller of the circumferential dimension of the pit,and the axial dimension is unchanged;The larger of the grinding depth ap,the larger of the circumferential dimension of the pit,and the larger of the roughness value of a single pit;Abrasive cluster Phyllotactic pattern,array pattern,staggered pattern wheel can form the surface of the boss and the surface of the groove-rib under certain conditions;The experimental results are consistent with the simulation results.
