Since the structured surface plays an important role in reducing friction and surface drag resistance of parts and improving the wear resistance of parts,it can effectively improve the mechanical properties of parts.Therefore,it is important to study the grinding of regular structured surfaces.This article first from the classification of structural surface,lists a number of different structured surface,and then calculate the corresponding mathematical model for classification results,and according to the established mathematical model to extraction and analysis the topological feature,finally by extracting the topological characteristics to design and manufacture topology grinding wheel.In the design of topological grinding wheel,based on the theory of phyllotactic arrangement in bionics,combined with array arrangement and staggered arrangement,it is applied to the manufacture of superhard grinding wheel with ordered arrangement of abrasive grains.Firstly,the mathematical model and motion trajectory equation of the engineering grinding wheel are established.The boundary conditions and parameter constraints required for different structural surfaces are obtained through MATLAB simulation,and then appropriate parameters are selected to simulate the structural surfaces of dimple,grooves and convex hulls.The topological grinding wheel is manufactured by electroplating method.According to the simulation parameters,a variety of orderly arranged grinding wheels and single grinding wheels are designed and electroplated.In the electroplating process,through the electroplating solution component,the height of the abrasive,mask pore size,electroplating current values,post-treatment of electroplated grinding wheel,electroplating process and conditions such as a large number of experimental data contrast and analysis,developed a complete set of electroplating process of superhard grinding wheel for the follow-up of the grinding wheel experiment laid a solid foundation.The grinding experiment of ordered and arranged superhard grinding wheel was completed on machining center,and the grinding experiment of single abrasive wheel was completed on CNC milling machine.The profilometer is used to measure the machined plane surface and analyze the characteristics of the machined plane micromorphology and its formation rules.The influence of machining parameters on the structural surface morphology was verified in the simulation,and the expected structural surface was obtained in the grinding experiment.The experimental results show that the surface of structured dimple,grooves and convex hulls can be machined by the topology grinding wheel with the orderly arrangement grinding.With different shapes of grains,the structural surface with different cross-section shapes can be obtained according to the requirements.Moreover,the longer the transverse length of the effective cutting surface contour involved in grinding,the larger the uplift on the surface of the workpiece after processing.The greater the grinding depth,the greater the length,width and depth of the dimple,the higher the uplift height;The larger the velocity ratio,the denser the longitudinal arrangement,the larger the number of pits,the smaller the size of pits,and the lower the uplift height.
