With the continuous development of printing technology,companies payed more attention to the quality and efficiency of printing products.The role and importance of printing standardization were highlighted.At present,printing companies regulated their processes of production by referring to the ISO12647-2 standard and the quality of products was improved by controlling the parameters of the printing process strictly.However,ISO12647-2 standard is a universal scope of application and has obvious limitations.Therefore,this paper explored the matching relationship between various evaluation parameters by establishing a quality evaluation model based on ISO12647-2 standard and the application of quality evaluation model was studied by ICC color management and the scientificity and feasibility of the model were proved in the end.(1)Construction and selection of parameters about quality evaluation model based on gray relational theoryBased on the quality evaluation specification of the ISO12647-2 standard,the colorimetry ?L*,?a*,?b*,relative contrast and dot gain were used as evaluation parameters for the density of printing products and the degrees of correlation of each parameter were determined by constructing the gray relational evaluation system in a designed experiments.The results showed that the degrees of correlation between various parameters were judged by constructing the gray relational evaluation system of the parameters effectively.The relative contrast K and dot gain should be given priority because of the higher correlation with the field density and the degree of correlation between colorimetry and field density were considered at the same time,which had great guiding significance for the selection of parameters of quality evaluation model.(2)Establishment and verification of quality evaluation model based on ISO12647-2 standard.Based on quality evaluation standard of the ISO12647-2,a functional modelbetween relative contrast,dot gain and field density was established by regression algorithm and the quality evaluation model based on ISO12647-2standard was established by discussing the parameter matching relationship between dot gain and field density.Then,the best field density was determined from the two aspects about colorimetry and density by combining with results of the gray correlation analysis and also the correlation analysis and the comparative analysis were used to verify the accuracy of the model.The results showed that there was a function matching relationship between dot gain and field density and also the best field density of CMYK were 1.649,1.523,0.975,1.836,which met the ISO12647-2 quality requirements.It was a big guiding significance for the quality control.(3)Application research of quality evaluation model based on ISO12647-2standardThe qualified sample was determined according to the quality evaluation model and the color management was performed by producing ICC profile.Then,based on the ISO12647-2 standard,the application effects of the quality evaluation model were evaluated in three aspects including color gamut,color reproduction and the evaluation method of digital image.The results showed that the color gamut and color reproduction of the digital image under the quality evaluation model were closer to the ISO12647-2 standard and the similarities of image color,structure and human visual perception were higher,which could meet the human visual requirements preferably and prove that the quality evaluation model based on ISO12647-2 had a good application effect.This paper established a quality evaluation model based on ISO12647-2standard and achieved its application in digital images.The method compensated for the defects of the manual inspection and improved the printing copying precision and the production efficiency,which meant a wide range of application prospects and use value for printing companies in quality evaluation were provided because the printing quality could be controlled according to the actual printing situation.
