This paper introduces the replacement of traditional wood materials with wooden door processing residues.Wood door processing residue-polypropylene composite(RWPP)were prepared and studied for its mechanical properties.Based on that,functional conductive bamboo charcoal powder was further added and the processing residue-bamboo charcoal,polypropylene functional composite-was prepared and tested for mechanical properties.To begin with,the test and analysis for element,thermogravimetry and infrared absorption spectrum were conduct toward the residuals of the wooden door.As the result,the elements,weight loss characteristics and functional groups of the wooden door processing residuals were different from other woods.Its niobium content is much higher than other woods,it should be caused by the urea-formaldehyde resin contained inside.In addition,the structure and properties of the processing residue-polypropylene wood-plastic composite(RWPP)were analyzed.The research reveals that: 1,add wood powder can reduce the shock resistance of RWPP,when wood powder content from 10% to 10%,the impact strength of RWPP dropped from 27.05 MPa to 14.69 MPa,a drop of about 45.7%,while RWPP,the tensile strength and bending strength,presents the fast growth the tendency,tensile strength enhanced by 25.03 MPa to 34.63 MPa,growth of 38.4%,and the bending strength enhanced by 46 MPa to 58.92 MPa,a 28.1% increase.2,Increases of the wood powder content will improve the thermal stability of the composite.3,When the amount of wood powder increases,the water absorption performance of RWPP will rise significantly.Finally,the microstructure and properties of Processing Residues-bamboo charcoal and polypropylene wood-plastic composite(RWPP-BC)were analyzed.The study found that: 1,with the increases of bamboo charcoal powder,the thermal stability of the composite will improve.2,As the content of bamboo charcoal powder increases,the binding of bamboo charcoal powder and substrate decreases,and the bamboo charcoal powder becomes partial.As the content of bamboo charcoal powder increased from 10% to 50%,the tensile strength and elongation of RWPP-BC gradually decreased from 34.25 MPa to 22.36 MPa,with a decrease of 33.6%,while the elongation decreased from 9.48% to 4.10%,with a decrease of 56.8%.The elastic modulus of composites showed an upward trend,increasing from 388.10 MPa to 461.63 MPa,up by 18.9%.3,Bamboo charcoal powder will enhance the water absorption of the composite,and the water absorption of the composite will show a growth trend with the increase of bamboo charcoal powder content.4,with the increase of bamboo charcoal powder content,the resistivity of RWPP-BC decreases,and the conductivity is enhanced.When the content of bamboo charcoal powder is between 10% and 30%,the resistivity decreases obviously.However,When the bamboo charcoal content was continuously increased,the resistivity of the composite did not change significantly.
