Known as "soft gold",cashmere fiber is soft and skin-friendly,and has good moisture absorption and sweat volatility properties,because of its excellent warmth,it is used in the development of winter knitwear,and its application in summer clothing is limited.Although the number of existing summer cashmere clothing has gradually increased,but the market share is still very small,and the production mode is mainly ring spinning,the fabric is easy to pilling.As a high-efficiency and short-flow spinning technology,air-jet vortex spinning yarn has less hairiness,and the fabric has excellent properties of moisture absorption,quick drying,abrasion resistance and pilling resistance,which is not only suitable for the production of summer close-fitting clothing,but also suitable for the development of wool fabrics.Cashmere fiber and cool feeling fiber were selected as raw materials in this paper,air-jet vortex spinning technology and ring spinning technology were used to develop cool summer cashmere blended knitting yarn,which not only can combine the excellent properties of cashmere fiber and cool fiber to develop cool summer cashmere blended knitting yarn,but also meet the growing consumer demand,while at the same time increasing the market share of summer cashmere apparel to a certain extent,and further improve the production efficiency of cashmere enterprises.In this paper,air-jet vortex(MVS)spinning method was used to create combed cashmere/polyester 20/80 blended yarn and woolen cashmere/polyester 20/80 blended yarn.Harrington slicer was used to acquire blended yarn samples;scanning electron microscope(including spectrometer)was used to collect and observe the pictures of the distribution of different fibers in yarns.Hamilton index and Onion index were used to study the influence of fiber specifications on radial distribution of fiber in the MVS blended yarn.Based on the radial distribution law of the fibers in the air-jet vortex yarn,flax fiber,combed cotton fiber,bamboo fiber,viscose fiber and polyester cool feeling fiber were chosen to blended with cashmere fiber to obtain four-component yarns with the same linear density.The yarn was prepared by air-jet vortex spinning and ring spinning,and the effects of yarn forming methods on yarn tensile strength,hairiness index and yarn evenness were compared.Three different cashmere ratios(10%,20%,30%)were designed to compare the effects of cashmere content on the tensile properties,hairiness index and yarn evenness of air-jet vortex yarn;The cashmere blended yarns made in this paper were woven into weft knitted fabrics of the same specification,five aspects of their cool and comfortable properties: air permeability,moisture permeability,water evaporability,thermal conductivity and maximum transient heat flow were compared with that of the five types of summer-wear cool fabrics available in the market,and the fuzzy mathematical appraise method was used to comprehensively judge the cool and comfortable properties of the fabric.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.In the air-jet vortex blended yarn,the fibers with longer length and smaller initial modulus are preferentially transferred outward,while those with shorter length and higher initial modulus are preferentially transferred inward.There are more polyester fibers in the surface layer of combed cashmere/polyester 20/80 blended yarn than that in the surface layer of woolen cashmere/polyester 20/80 blended yarn;2.When the composition of the blended yarn is the same,the tensile property of the air-jet vortex yarn is worse than that of the ring yarn,but the yarn hairiness and yarn evenness of the air-jet vortex yarn are better than that of the ring yarn;When the air-jet vortex blended yarn has the same type of fiber,as the cashmere content of the air-jet vortex blended yarn increases,the tensile property of the yarn improves,but yarn hairiness and yarn evenness get worse;3.When the fiber types of the MVS cashmere blended fabrics are the same,the fabric with cashmere content of 20% has the best cool comfort,followed by the fabric with cashmere content of 30%,and the fabric with the lowest cashmere content of 10% has the worst cool comfort.It can be seen that the increase of cashmere content is helpful to improve the cool and comfortable properties of the fabric to a certain extent;4.Type of fiber and the spinning method directly affect the cool comfort of cashmere blended knitted fabric.Among the nine cashmere blended knitted fabrics designed in this study,the cool comfort of knitted fabric made of cool polyester/viscose/silk/cashmere 40/20/20/20 MVS blended yarn is the best.
