Application Of Indigo Dyeing In Deconstructive Fashion Design

As a traditional printing and dyeing process,plant indigo dyeing is a kind of human handicraft and intangible culture with global significance.However,due to the development of modern industry,plant indigo dyeing process has lost its original market worldwide and is facing the situation of being eliminated.In recent years,with the increasingly strong demand for clothing to return to nature,plant indigo dyeing has attracted people's attention again.As a traditional handicraft,indigo dyeing does not meet the current aesthetic needs in patterns,colors,forms of expression and so on.Under the guidance of theory,traditional dyeing technology is combined with modern design concept similar to deconstructionism,and innovative application is carried out to make it glow with new aesthetic characteristics.At the same time,it provides a reference method for the innovative application of Chinese traditional crafts in fashion design,and promotes the protection and development of traditional crafts.The paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which elaborates the purpose and significance of the research,the current research situation,the main research contents and key points,difficulties,innovations and key issues.The second chapter is an overview of plant indigo dyeing.It combs the development history and artistic expression methods of indigo dyeing at home and abroad,and summarizes the development needs of indigo dyeing.The third chapter is an overview of Deconstructionist fashion design.It summarizes the application methods of deconstructionism in fashion design from three aspects: color,shape and material,and analyses the works of deconstructive masters.In the fourth chapter,through the analysis of the forms and characteristics of plant indigo dyeing in deconstructive fashion design,the design method of combining the two is put forward,which lays a good theoretical foundation for the follow-up practice.The fifth chapter is the design practice,which combines plant indigo dyeing technology with deconstructive clothing design concept to design innovative series of clothing.Chapter 6 summarizes the development prospects of indigo dyeing art in deconstructive clothing.By predicting the future development trend,it will further expand the design ideas and imagination space,and provide a reference for innovative clothing design.Under the background of economic globalization,the whole world is influenced by the international trend.After fashion and reproduction,the national character and uniqueness of clothing are weakened.Clothing design becomes uniform.The multi-way design idea is the demand of clothing innovation.Indigo dyeing of plants has very high inheritance value and should have more space for development.Applying it to deconstructive clothing that subverts tradition,the two collide and blend with each other,which brings more possibilities to innovative clothing design.
