From the UNFCCC to the Paris Climate Agreement, humankind has made huge efforts to address the challenges of global warming and resource shortages. For decades, governments, companies and research institutions around the world have been striving to explore new ways to save energy and reduce emissions.Among them, the innovation and progress of related technologies have become one of the most important ways.In order to increase the output of materials and save more energy, traditional technologies are developed and upgraded. As a major energy consumer, thousands of cars are also one of the main sources of greenhouse gas and atmospheric pollutant emissions.Innovations in automotive technology have become the consensus of all countries in the world.China has listed the new energy automobile industry as a strategic emerging industry, and has carried out large-scale promotion. In 2015,it surpassed the United States to become the world’s largest new energy vehicle market. But to what extent is new energy vehicles environmentally friendly—energy saving? As a new technology product, new energy vehicles will promote the development of society, but how the environmental risks behind it are constructed? This study invokes the concept of technology risk and attempts to "find" the role of consumers in the risk construction process by reviewing the literature on existing risks and research related to new energy vehicles. Then, from the perspective of actor network theory and social practice theory, the author examines the consumer’s practical process of new energy vehicles:the background of consumer practice in the actor network and the individual practice of consumers. This paper analyzes the environmental risk construction process of consumers in the process of new energy vehicles, and tries to answer the following questions:1.How does consumer practice participate in the construction of environmental risks of new energy vehicles?2.What are the risk construction processes in consumer practice?...
