Air is the necessary material to maintain normal human life.The quality of the surrounding air directly affects the living environment of human beings.Taiyuan City is a typical heavy industrial city and a northern energy heavy chemical industry base.The energy structure and industrial structure make the utilization rate of coal high.Therefore,Taiyuan has always been a typical soot-type polluted city.In recent years,along with the rapid economic development and the continuous expansion of the city,the air pollution in Taiyuan has been transformed from coal-fired type to coal-fired type and motor vehicle exhaust-type composite pollution.The atmospheric environment characterized by particulate matter and S02 is formed,accompanied by NO2 and O3 pollution.This paper selects six pollution factors stipulated by the national air quality standards,monitors the air pollution status of Taiyuan City from2013 to 2018,and uses the existing air quality indicators as reference concentration to evaluate and analyze the atmospheric status and characteristics of Taiyuan City.Through the meta-analysis,the effects of different pollutants on health were obtained.Finally,the Poisson regression model was used to quantitatively evaluate the health effects of the population,in order to provide a basis for improving the atmospheric environment quality and establishing reasonable air quality standards in Taiyuan.The main conclusions are as follows:?1?In addition to CO,atmospheric pollutants in Taiyuan in 2013-2017,SO2,NO2,PM10,PM2.5 and O3 exceeded the national air quality primary and secondary standards.Among them,PM10 and PM2.5 exceeded the standard most seriously,followed by SO2,O3 and NO2 occasionally exceeded the standard,but the change range was smaller and more stable.Comparing the trend of pollutant concentration in each season of atmospheric pollutants in Taiyuan,it was found that SO2,NO2,PM10and PM2.5 showed higher concentrations in the first quarter and fourth quarter than in the second and third quarters.in the second and third quarters,O3 was higher than in the first and fourth quarters.From the pollution situation in Taiyuan City,the concentration of pollution in industrial areas and commercial areas with large traffic flows exceeds the maximum,indicating that air pollution in Taiyuan City is mainly from industry and transportation.?2?Through the meta-analysis,the exposure-response relationship of atmospheric pollutant exposure to death is obtained.Among them,the mortality of SO2 and NO2 is greatly affected,and the mortality of PM10 and PM2.5 is less affected.However,the final health effect is related to the population base,mortality and concentration exceeding the standard.?3?The WHO air quality guidance value and the national air quality standard I and II standard limits are reference concentrations,which can avoid non-accidental death,cardiovascular disease death,and respiratory disease death as healthy endpoints.Out,the health effects of PM10,PM2.5,and SO2 in Taiyuan City reaching the corresponding indicators in 2013-2017 are far higher than the health effects of O3 and NO2.?4?The health effects of PM10,PM2.5 and SO2 concentrations are huge,and PM10,PM2.5 and SO2 should be controlled as priority pollutants.On the basis of China's current economic development stage and environmental management requirements,the environmental air quality standard limits of PM10,PM2.5 particulate matter and O3with higher national standard concentration limits should be appropriately reduced.Finally,this paper proposes improvement suggestions for the current situation of ambient air quality in Taiyuan City.Suggestions are made to improve the energy structure,improve coal quality,control dust,strengthen urban greening,and strengthen necessary safeguards to improve the environmental quality of Taiyuan City,improve public health and promote the sustainable development of Taiyuan City.
