Resource development and environmental protection issues are hot topics in today's society,and the environmental education issues that come with them are increasingly attracting the attention of academics and governments at all levels.Secondary vocational education is an indispensable part of education.It is of great significance and far-reaching to carry out environmental education in secondary vocational schools.Shandong Province is a major province of economy,resources and education.Therefore,the promotion and popularization of environmental education in secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province has received much attention.The basic situation and existing problems of environmental education in secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province have an important impact on the comprehensiveness and profoundness of environmental education in Shandong Province.Based on the theories of environmental education,green education and sustainable development education,this study comprehensively uses literature research,questionnaire survey,field research and GIS spatial analysis to investigate and analyze the environmental education of secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province,in order to understand the current Shandong.Insufficient environmental education in the province,explore the development space of environmental education in secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province,understand the current understanding and attitude of teachers and students of secondary vocational schools on environmental education,and provide data support for the promotion of environmental education in secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province.The main work and conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)According to a survey of environmental education majors and courses offered by 366 secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province,54 schools in 16prefecture-level cities in Shandong Province(according to the administrative scope of Laiwu City's integration into Jinan City)involved environmental education,accounting for only 14.75% of all secondary vocational schools.Only 16 of the 2,798 professional points in secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province involve environmental education,accounting for only 0.57% of the total number of majors.(2)Designing the questionnaire from the environmental education foundation of students in secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province,popularizing environmental knowledge in secondary vocational schools,learning environmental attitudes and environmental knowledge of secondary vocational students,and attitudes of school leaders and teachers on environmental education courses The survey on the basic needs of environmental education in Shandong Province found that the environmental education of students in secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province is poor.The secondary schools have no universal knowledge of environmental knowledge.The secondary school students have low enthusiasm for environmental knowledge and knowledge.To a lesser extent,the attitudes of school leaders and teachers on environmental education courses are not clear.(3)As the development of environmental education is influenced by external factors such as the development of local economy,the input of government departments to environmental education disciplines,and the estimation of the prospects of environmental education courses in secondary vocational schools,the distribution of secondary vocational schools in Shandong Province Main issues such as concentration,lack of purpose,lack of professional skills training for relevant professionals,and imperfect curriculum system.(4)In view of the promotion and popularization of environmental education in Shandong Province,the author believes that schools that have carried out environmental education can carry out environmental education courses in light of the actual local environmental conditions,strengthen the training of teachers' environmental literacy and improve the teaching methods of environmental education courses;Schools in education need to strengthen the development of school-based curriculum for environmental education and actively carry out environmental education theme classes.
