With the changes of oil and gas resources pattern in the world,how to select the track quickly and accurately in the drilling has become the primary task of operations for oil field.Drilling engineering can be immersive displayed using the rapid development of virtual reality technology.Applying 3D visualization technology into prediction of accurate drilling trajectory,it provided a foundation for the virtual platform in anti-collision treatment of adjacent wellbore,well trajectory control,expert remote decision-making and the training of drilling engineering operators.Different from the digital simulation,this paper presents the drilling pattern of the well trajectory in 3D form,and supplies the virtual stratum,virtual well field,which can reproduce an immersive virtual drilling project.With the VR immersive display technology,the virtual well site created can realize the interactive operation such as well field roaming and tripping control;the created stratum has more realistic geological texture and layering;the created 3D well trajectory can not only simulate the drilling process but also enables interactive operations such as underground roaming.The main research contents of this paper as following:(1)Creating 3D virtual models.The 3D models of wellsite,stratum and wellbore trajectory is created by 3Ds max and optimized.The 3D models are rendered and mapped by SP and PS software to reproduce the virtual object.(2)Building virtual drilling projects.Construct a virtual drilling engineering environment in Unity software,add natural elements such as vegetation and landscapes;import 3D models,add collision effects,and music background to enhance the user's real experience;(3)Adding the human-computer interaction interface and control effect.The UGUI system is used to create the interactive system which included the initial interface,main interface and sub-interface.the script program is edited to realize the interactive functions in drilling,well site,underground roaming and well trajectory control.Using VR equipment,the developed 3D virtual visualization wellbore trajectory interactive system can reproduce the virtual drilling project,at the same time,can provide users with an immersive display environment.The system enhances the human-computer interaction effect,convenience users' movement,observation,analysis and decision-making.It provides an important basis on optimization,control and prediction for well trajectory.
