The automobile cover is the main component of the car body.The level of the stamping process and the quality of the product have an extremely important position in the automobile manufacturing.In the process of designing the body panels,engineers cannot rely on traditional trial-and-error analysis to optimize the forming solutions of the panels due to limitations in technical capabilities,development cycles,and cost of development.Because of this,finite element numerical simulation technology has gradually become an indispensable and important method to improve the body development level.Based on the basic principles of production process and process design for automotive panels,this project develops the stamping process for automotive rear wheel cover panels,and then uses the AutoForm software to perform numerical simulation analysis.The software analyzes and calculates the stamping direction,the pressing surface,the process supplementary surface,the blank size,the forming limit diagram of the part,the main strain diagram,and the thickness variation,and optimizes the blank holder force,friction coefficient,and blank size.Get the better punch results.Combining orthogonal test with AutoForm software,to maximize the thin shear rate and the increased thickness rate as the evaluation index,the blank holder force,punch velocity,the coefficient of friction and convex concave die clearance of automobile main influence law of the rear cover plate thickness and extreme difference analysis method,to determine the factors influencing the maximum thinning rate process primary and secondary order,and through the forming limit diagram,cloud validation reduction ratio validate select 1.65 mm intensive clearance of the optimal parameter,stamping speed is 1000mm/s,blank-holder force 600 kN,the coefficient is 0.14 combination for the final car rear cover plate stamping process plan,the scheme is stamped in practice,the rear wheel cover plate with good formability was obtained.The optimum combination of parameters is the final stamping process for the rear wheel hood of automobile.This method can produce automobile rear wheel cover plate with good forming quality and improve production efficiency.It also has reference value for debugging actual production process parameters and mold manufacturing.
