In an increasingly competitive global environment,competition among enterprises has shifted from competition in the quality of commodity performance to competition in the supply chain.Especially,for the enterprise in chemical industry,the order process has become an important process in the operation,the efficiency is gradually being valued by the business managers.As the core process in the entire supply chain,the order process has become an important indicator to measure its own competitiveness.Therefore,through the study of the order management process,this article will focus on how to increase the on-time delivery rate.This article starts with DB Chemical's Asia Pacific supply model and analyzes DB's order management process.Through the analysis of DB's internal order performance data,it is concluded that the on-time delivery rate of customer's local orders is the most prominent issue affecting the customer service level.The main factor affecting the company's on-time delivery rate is the on-time delivery rate of material replenishment orders.And demand forecasts are inaccurate.Based on the analysis of the current material replenishment order process and the analysis of the demand forecasting process,we have found that the accuracy of material input order entry,timeliness,long order cycle,and third-party logistics services are the main issues that affect the on-time delivery of material replenishment orders;in the demand forecasting process,the unreasonable division of labor,simple and crude prediction methods are the main problems that lead to poor prediction accuracy.In response to the issue of material orders,an optimization scheme was proposed from the aspects of application automation technology and shared information platform,integration of unified operation specifications,reduction of waste in value streams,and redesign of the third party logistics performance evaluation system.In order to diagnose the problem of demand forecast,we use the ABC-XYZ classification method to classify the products and select the appropriate quantitative or qualitative demand forecasting methods to optimize the design in order to improve the accuracy of demand forecasting.By optimizing the implementation of the plan,we will eventually increase the on-time delivery rate of customers'local orders and improve process efficiency.
