With the development of economy and society and the increasing spiritual and cultural needs of the people,the construction of museum in China has shown the diversified,thematic and socialized trend.As a member of thematic museum and a material carrier and window for inheriting Chinese food culture,the Chinese food culture museum is a new thing in the development process of the museum,with great potential for development.At present,nearly hundred food culture museums have been established in China,but they are still in the early stage of exploration,and many problems and deficiencies inevitably appear in the development process.Therefore this article takes Chinese food culture museum as the research object,combines and reduces the current situation,characteristics,type division and the existence signifinance of food culture museum in our country,analyzes the common problem which is revealed in the process of development of China food culture museum and find personality problems through the field investigation on Hangzhou cuisines museum,and puts forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures on the basis of statistics of the quantity and distribution of existing food culture museum.It is hoped that the author's preliminary research can serve as a reference for the sustainable development of the food culture museum in China,and a reference for the academic research of the food culture museum.The author believes that the food culture museum in China will be able to develop healthily and sustainably under the joint efforts of various social forces in the future.
