Ecological space is an important foundation for national land planning and ecological civilization construction.However,in recent years,with the continuous development of the economy and society,the contradiction between ecological space and production and living space has deepened,the ecological space has been continuously squeezed,and the ecological environment has been destroyed.In this context,the"Overall Plan for the Reform of Ecological Civilization System"clearly states that it is necessary to strengthen the national land space use control system and delineate production,living and ecological space.The Fenhe River is the mother river of the Shanxi people.It is related to the transformation and development of economic and the construction of ecological civilization in Shanxi Province.However,due to the influence of natural geography and human activities,the ecosystems in the Fenhe River are seriously degraded and damaged.Therefore,it is necessary to demarcate an ecological space in the upper reaches of the Fenhe River.Demarcation,protection and rational utilization of natural resources in the region from the source,improvement of the ecological environment,and sustainable development of the Fenhe River are also of great significance for the implementation of the national ecological civilization construction and development strategy.Based on this,this paper is supported by relevant theories such as sustainable development,using literature analysis method,field research method,InVEST model,GIS spatial analysis method,fully considering the ecological environment status in the upper reaches of the Fenhe River,and based on the comprehensive evaluation results of ecosystem service function and ecological sensitivity,the study on the ecological space demarcation of the upper reaches of the Fenhe River was carried out.The specific research results and conclusions are as follows:(1)The proportion of the highly important and extremely important area of the water supply,soil conservation and habitat quality ecosystem services in the upper reaches of the Weihe River in Shanxi Province accounted for 30.04%,10.90%and39.49%,respectively.The comprehensive evaluation results of ecosystem service functions through disjunction calculations show that the comprehensive ecosystem services in the study area are moderately important,highly important and extremely important,with an area of 216457 hm~2,276145 hm~2 and 347582 hm~2,respectively.The proportion of the total area is about 24.37%,31.09%and 39.13%.Among them,the area ratio of the highly important areas and the extremely important areas as the basis for ecological space demarcation is 70.22%.(2)In the upper reaches of the Fenhe River in Shanxi Province,the area of the area with moderate sensitivity and above in the assessment of soil and water loss sensitivity and habitat sensitivity accounted for 94.56%and 70.48%of the total area of the study area,respectively.Among them,the sensitivity of soil erosion is mainly moderately sensitive,accounting for 82.85%of the total area of the study area.Habitat sensitivity is highly sensitive and moderately sensitive,accounting for 31.81%and 27.10%of the total area of the study area,respectively.The comprehensive evaluation results of ecological sensitivity through the disjunction calculation show that the overall ecological sensitivity of the upper reaches of the Fenhe River is high,and the sensitive level is moderately sensitive and the above area accounts for 96.90%.Among them,the area of the highly sensitive areas and the extremely sensitive areas as the basis for ecological space demarcation is 452816 hm~2,and the specific gravity is 50.88%.(3)The total area of ecological space demarcated in the upper reaches of Fenhe River in Shanxi Province is 648700.3 hm~2,which accounts for 73.06%of the area of the study area.The delineated ecological space covers most of the ecological land,mainly forest land,grassland and wetland;The space is divided into the core area of ecological space,the key area of ecological space and the general area of ecological space,with an area of 87531.10 hm~2,317793.10 hm~2,and 243376.1 hm~2,respectively,accounting for 13.49%,48.99%,and 37.52%of the total ecological space.The core area of the ecological space includes the nature reserves in the study area,the source of drinking water,etc.,and the space is characterized by concentrated contiguous features.The protection suggestions for the area should be based on the banned management;the ecological space key areas are forest land and water area.The main recommendations for the protection of the area should be protection,supplementation,strengthening natural restoration,and encouraging the guidance of artificial restoration such as forest tending;the general ecological space is mainly distributed in the buffer zone around the construction land,which allows agricultural development activities,but needs to control the scale of development.
