The iron ore in our country is abundant but not rich.In response to this characteristic,China has successfully developed many new magnetic separation equipment under the continuous efforts of the past 30 years.As one of the weak magnetic separation equipment,the electromagnetic elutriation machine is widely used in the concentrator and naturally plays a vital role in the purification of iron ore.Heishan refined iron ore sample and Shanxi Mingli refined iron ore sample are adopted for field test,and the single variable method is used for test analysis.The influence behavior and influence rule of several technological parameters of electromagnetic elutriation machine on separation efficiency are studied through the test results.Then using the orthogonal test method of four factors and three levels of experimental analysis,through the establishment of L9(34)orthogonal table to analyze the impact level of each influencing factors,and find the best combination of parameters,and then using SPSS software to use the data obtained multivariate linear regression fitting.Through the proposed curves and charts,the multivariate regression equations of two kinds of ore samples for concentrate and tailings grade are analyzed.The influence rule of each factor on the grade of concentrate and tailings was found,and the results of the two tests were compared to check the consistency of the results.Through the actual test analysis of the two kinds of slurry samples,the sorting efficiency of the electromagnetic elutriation machine at work can be improved in a targeted manner.For different pulps,the best sorting efficiency can be found,which provides theoretical support for the development of magnetic separation equipment in the future.
