Food Waste Management:Case Study In ByteDance Co Ltd.,China

Food waste has become an increasingly recognized environmental issue over the last decade,minimizing this burden is important in order to increase the total environmental impact from food waste.The collective-problems dilemma creates a common problem underlying the difficulty in every big organizations about the food waste systems,whether the company make the program or not to answering the call of the go green company.Even not the main character of the one who producing the food waste,every big organizations compete in a globally competitive market and must focus on developing methods of reaching customers that appeal to a new generation and utilize the advantages of mass media,especially if the organizations is the social networking company.It is the responsibility of an organization to be available to reach the level of the full responsibility corporate that taking care of the waste in this world.And the goal of this research is to analyze if the company can benchmark the program design of the food waste management program from other companies as a part of reverse logistics system.This research will using two methods,first one is to analyze the company behaviors of food waste using quantitative strategic planning matrix,and second method is using comprehensive benchmarking method,this benchmarking method will plan,search and use the best possible ways to benchmark the food waste management program from the top organizations that already using years experiences in food waste management program,efficacy of waste recycling is one of the key determinants of minimizing the environmental impact that will be use to answering the main questions posed by this research:how can company design a system that minimize the environmental impact and upgrade the value from the food waste,as the following questions are:(1)How can company methodically find the most suitable and sustainable solution to manage food waste?(2)What information is needed to model the food waste management program and consequently estimate the results obtained?(3)What types of food waste are generated and how can they be systematically categorized?,The findings from this research cover the aim of this research that benchmarked optimal adaptive design of the food waste management program using comprehensive benchmarking method to the ByteDance Co.Ltd.And specifically bring the innovation of the methods used,knowledges and change the ways and the cycles of the food waste management inside this company especially internet platform company.And also because the comprehensive benchmarking method and quantitative strategic planning matrix generate result for the present-future company,that this organization can make internet-platform application of social interactions among food waste producers,food waste users and food waste analyzer that will bring benefits to the company by making social media application that will support others company's products as well,and company also possibly be a front runner of the food waste management program that help the world show how to do the effective food waste treatment and also gave further suggestions about management of food waste that being analyzed in accordance with current changes and future perspectives.
