Baiyinhua No.l and No.2 are the two adjacent open-pits coal mine in the same mining area.It will must cause many serious problems such as a large number of end slope coal may not be extracted between two adjacent open-pits,slope landslide hazards increasing constantly,not enough dumping space and deficiency in economic performance if they continue to be extracted respectively.The paper aims at extracting the 14.1 billions end slope coal between the adjacent open-pits of Baiyinhua No.l and No.2 by a most economic,safe and efficient manner which on the basis of detailedly analysis in geology,mining design and exploitation status of two pits.Adopted the methods of scheme comparison,compute simulation and mathematical modes to synthetically determine the coordination mining area and initial construction position,detailedly make a stope through scheme and mining procedure,optimally design the transportation system and dumping procedure,hannonically utilize the inside&outside dumps.At the end,both pits have reduced production cost,prolonged the mining life,and realized purpose of win-win.
