Because of the change of the occurrence condition of the orebody in Wachangping Bauxite,there are left some boundary orebody,the boundary orebody has high economic value,and the ore dilution rate is low.The purpose of this paper is to realize the mine the boundary orebody in the bauxite mine.The research results are of great significance to the realization of the efficient exploitation of the ore body,the improvement of the mine resource recovery rate and the extension of the service life of the mine.In the F2 fault to the boundary of the field drilling core and measure the physical and mechanical parameters of rock.To carry out the program for short wall face,and according to the "simple beam" structure and "fixed beam" structure to determine the width is 6.23m,and according to the equipment capacity and the minimum cost to determine the length of the road branch is 100?140m,and according to the theory of the two-zone constraint,the theoretical width of the inter-pillar pillar is 0.91m and the theoretical width of the pillar protection pillar is 8.3m,and according to the empirical formula,the theoretical width of the isolation pillar is 20m,and according to a smaller angle fault rational width of protective pillar leaving in the theoretical formula to determine fault protection pillar width is 18.19m.The vertical stress and plastic zone of 0.5m,1.0m,15m interchamber pillars and 14m,19m,24m fault protection pillars were analyzed by FLAC3D numerical simulation software,the results shows that:1.0m interchamber pillars to protect the current mining cave,and close to the face of the three to four pairs of knife between the pillar of plastic damage,which can play a temporary role in supporting the roof;19m fault protection pillars can play a role in isolating faults and protecting the working face and have a higher recovery rate.Finally,the short-wall mining technology is introduced and the equipment selection is selected.The paper has a great significance,which is good to the safe production and reasonable exploitation of the orebody in Wachangping,and to improve the resource recovery rate,to avoid the loss of resources and to ensure the safe and efficient production of mine.It is also the practice and richness of short wall mining theory.
