As a hot issue in computer graphics,fluid simulation is often used in the simulation of natural phenomena such as flame and smoke.Mine fire is one of the most dangerous disasters in coal mine,which not only brings huge property loss,but also leads to heavy casualties.It is of great practical significance to use fluid simulation technology to simulate mine fire,and it also has a certain challenge.First of all,the theoretical knowledge and related technologies of fluid simulation are studied and analyzed.Then the simulation experiment of mine fire is designed and implemented based on Unreal Engine 4.The main contents of this article are as follows:In order to make the final flame simulation more realistic,by analyzing the physical properties of flame,we use the N-S equation combined with the density equation to simulate the flame and establish the corresponding flame model.The velocity field and density field of the flame simulation are obtained by numerical solution of the flame model.The corrected Mac Cormack method is used to solve the advection term of the N-S equation,and the multigrid method based on V cycle is applied to solve the pressure term.In the process of solving external force,with the advantage of UE4's WYSIWYG,the strength parameters of vortex suppression force can be visualized in the blueprint by writing code,and the parameter values can be modified in real time in the simulation process,and the enhancing the interaction of simulation.The flame simulation on the UE4,proposed a method of rendering light projection algorithm combined with UE4,the physical solution of the velocity field and density field results for texture mapping,by sampling density,and quantify processing,compared with the Alpha values in the Curve blueprint in UE4,and select the value of the color,as the Color Map class needed for the flame rendering material to achieve the final flame rendering.By putting the flame model into the constructed mine scene,the simulation experiment of mine fire is realized.Using the collision detection function of UE4,the collision objects of different properties are set up,and the simulation experiments of flame combustion are carried out.By analyzing the effect of wind on flame combustion,the simulation experiment of flame combustion under different wind direction was carried out.In UE4,the flame simulation process is more interactive by adding the UI interface and triggering events.
