With the continuous development of economic globalization,the in-depth development of China's "going out" strategy,especially the implementation of the "Belt and Road" initiative has achieved unprecedented response and active participation of countries along the line.After six years of implementation,China's international influence has been continuously Improvement has brought unprecedented opportunities for China's technology and equipment exports.During this period,the foreign EPC general contracting has also achieved rapid development,and the contract value has increased year by year,both in terms of volume and quality.As a mining engineering project in the EPC general contracting,it has also taken advantage of the situation.With the support of national policies,it has actively integrated domestic high-quality design,equipment manufacturing and construction forces under the coordination of state-owned enterprises and private enterprises.With other resources,we compete with world-renowned engineering general contracting companies in the international market.With high-quality technical level,high-quality service concept,high-quality and low-cost equipment and efficient construction team,we have captured one after another in the world.An international EPC mining project,the implementation of these projects won the praise of the owners of various countries,adding a strong and colorful to the China International EPC general contracting.However,while we have great opportunities,we will also face more cruel challenges,such as complex political environment,demanding localization standards,regulations for project construction,protection of local labor,and effective use of materials and equipment resources.It presents many challenges to our design,procurement and construction processes.In order to consolidate and develop this hard-won achievement,we regard the quality assurance of the project as a priority,because the quality of the project not only directly determines the success or failure of the project,but also has a long-term impact on the company's reputation.Said that the quality assurance of the project is the lifeline of the company's future development.In the whole project quality management process,design quality management is the key,it always runs through the whole process of project quality management.Therefore,to ensure the quality of the project,design quality management is the core.Through the research on project management theory,combined with the overseas engineering projects completed by the company,summarize and analyze the difficulties and problems in the design quality management of the first phase of the A project,and combine the experience of excellent project execution,and seek countermeasures and methods to further solve the problem,in order to provide guidance and reference for the implementation of the second phase of the implementation of the A project.Provide reference for design quality management of other similar engineering projects of the company.The thesis is subdivided into seven chapters in the structure,among which: the first chapter is introduction part,which highlights background and significance of topic selection,and expounds the current status of project management at home and abroad,especially the research status of project quality management.The paper puts forward the research thinking and methods of the thesis;the second chapter is an overview of related concepts and theories,discusses the theory of project management and project quality management,the application of the ideas and methods of total quality management,and the basic links of project quality control;The third chapter analyzes the status quo of the international EPC general contracting design quality management of the A project,introduces and summarizes the background of the project,the scope of the general contracting,the adopted process flow and design principles,the functional distribution of the design team,and the quality management system audit.The basis and procedure and the whole process of quality control of the whole project;the fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of the problems and causes of the international EPC general contracting design quality management of the A project,and summarizes the more prominent design quality that appears in the process of the project.Control problems and analyze the root causes of these problems.The fifth chapter is based on the EPC general contracting design management of the excellent project copper mine project in Australia.It summarizes the successful experience of quality management in the design process and summarizes the enlightenment and The sixth chapter puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the quality management of international EPC general contracting design of project A through the combination of theory and practice,and provides guidance and reference for the optimization of EPC design quality management in the second phase of project A,and also provides reference for similar projects.The seventh chapter is the research and comparison,it is found that the A project international mining EPC general contracting project has been delivered to the owner,but in the entire design quality management,there is insufficient accuracy of design input basic data,design thinking solidification,design and inspection and dependence,and drawings are not in place.The problems such as the lack of on-site technical services are mainly due to the lack of quality awareness,the over-construction of the quality plan of the project,and the insufficient quality supervision.Through the successful experience of designing quality management of copper mine EPC in Australia,the refinement is proposed.Design quality plan,strict quality control,change design quality management concept,incorporate drawings into quality management,strengthen interaction between design and procurement and construction,use scientific analysis methods for quality control,etc.In order to provide guidance and reference for the implementation of the second phase of the construction of the A project,it also provides reference for the design quality management of other similar engineering projects of the company.
