With the deepening of China's reform,the social economy and residents' income have been growing steadily.The improvement of people's material living standards has also made the consumption of dairy products more and more attention.The focus of attention on dairy products has shifted from price factors to nutrition,health and quality safety.Although domestic and foreign scholars have studied the consumption level of dairy products and the dairy product quality and safety awareness of urban residents in detail,and analyzed its influencing factors,there are few studies on farmers and herdsmen who have difficulty in obtaining data and less consumption than urban residents.Therefore,it is necessary to further study the factors affecting the quality and safety awareness of farmers and herdsmen and formulate dairy products for the country.The product policy and dairy enterprises provide the basis for developing the rural pastoral market.This paper takes farmers and herdsmen in Hohhot and Baotou City of Inner Mongolia as the research object.Based on 157 questionnaires of farmers and herdsmen in six banners,counties and districts,referring to the research of scholars at home and abroad,and combining with their own field research,the consumption status of farmers and herdsmen in sample households and the status quo of dairy products quality and safety awareness are analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis.Secondly,the quality and safety awareness is analyzed.It is divided into two levels:farmers and herdsmen's understanding of dairy products and their satisfaction with the quality and safety of dairy products.Discrete selection econometric model is used to analyze the influencing factors of farmers and herdsmen's perception of the quality and safety of dairy products.Finally,a conclusion is drawn.The results show that:(1)Farmers and herdsmen pay attention to the quality and safety of dairy products,the extent to which farmers and herdsmen obtain quality and safety information on dairy products,the attitude of fanners and herdsmen to spend time learning the quality and safety of dairy products,the age of farmers and herdsmen,and the peasants and herdsmen.The annual income of the family has a significant impact on the understanding of the dairy products of farmers and herdsmen;(2)the measures taken by farmers and herdsmen to dairy processing enterprises.Satisfaction and whether food quality and safety incidents have happened have a significant impact on farmers and herdsmen's satisfaction with the quality and safety of dairy products;(3)Family income restricts farmers and herdsmen's expenditure on dairy products,farmers and herdsmen only buy specific types of dairy products to consume,farmers and herdsmen's consumption is relatively conservative,and the consumption structure is single.According to the research conclusion of this paper,specific measures are put forward to enhance farmers and herdsmen's understanding of dairy products,enhance farmers and herdsmen's awareness of dairy products'quality and safety,and enhance farmers'satisfaction with dairy products'quality and safety:improve farmers' attention to quality and safety;strengthen quality and safety education for farmers and herdsmen;enrich dairy products'quality and safety publicity channels;strengthen supervision of dairy enterprises;The types of dairy products purchased by rich farmers and herdsmen;Increase the income of farmers and herdsmen.
