As important strategic resources,gallium and indium play a significant role in many aspects such as electronics industry,solar cell field,and medical and health area.With the continuous development of technology,the demand for gallium and indium are also increasing.However,they are scattered in the earth's crust at a low level and usually existed in the form of associated minerals.These factors add difficulty to recover gallium and indium.But there are many limitations of the present extraction technology,such as usage of organic solvents of solvent extraction method and poor selectivity of ion exchange method.The solvent-impregnated resin method is a promising method for recovering gallium and indium due to its high selectivity and high efficiency of ion exchange.In this paper,Cyanex 923 SIRs for recovery gallium were prepared by impregnating a neutral extractant phosphorus trialkyl oxide?Cyanex 923?with styrene-divinylbenezene macroporous resin?HZ803?as a carrier.And then HZ803 was modified of nitrification.Cyanex 923 NSIRs for recovery gallium were prepared with Cyanex 923 as extractant,and the modified HZ803 as a carrier.Similarly,the N-1923/PA SIRs were prepared to recover indium by mixing the primary amine extractant N-1923 and phytic acid?PA?and impregnating HZ803.The adsorption properties of the prepared adsorbent on Ga???or In???in hydrochloric acid system were investigated.Static experiments showed that the adsorption performance of Cyanex 923 SIRs on Ga???is affected by the concentration of hydrochloric acid,in which the adsorption amount increases with enhancing the hydrochloric acid concentration.Cyanex 923 SIRs is an endothermic process for Ga???,and has good selectivity in Ga???-Al???,Ga???-Cu???,Ga???-Fe???,Ga???-Zn???Binary system.Dynamic experiments indicated that the adsorption properties increased with slowing the flow rate and enhancing the aspect ratio.The adsorbed Ga???could be effectively eluted with 0.01mol·L-1 hydrochloric acid.Compared with Cyanex 923 SIRs,the adsorbed equilibrium time of Cyanex 923 NSIRs adsorption Ga???was shorter.And the Cyanex 923 NSIRs are slightly better than Cyanex 923 SIRs in recycling performance.Under the optimal ratio of N-1923 and PA,the adsorption performance of N-1923/PA SIRs on In???at pH 3.13 is better than that of pure N-1923 SIRs or PA SIRs.N-1923/PA SIRs were prepared by increasing the N-1923 and PA dosages at the optimum ratio.N-1923/PA SIRs could rapidly adsorb In???,and the adsorption amount reached to 15.3 mg·g-1 after 30 minutes,and 16.87 mg·g-1 after 6 h at 298 K,the adsorption effect showed a slow increase trend afterwards.It was revealed that the adsorption process is an endothermic process.The saturated adsorption amount increased with the temperature rose.The adsorption process was a monolayer adsorption process and conformed to the Langmuir isotherm adsorption model.In the In???-Cu???-Fe???-Zn???quaternary system with the same initial concentration,the optimal pH for In???adsorption was 3.13.
