| Karst desertification was called "earth cancer",which can cause regional ecological deterioration,loss of land,shortage of water resources,extinction of rare and endangered plant resources and occurrence of regional poverty.Guangxi was one of the most serious regions of rocky desertification in China,but its plant resources were the second in the country,medicinal plant resources were very rich,and many of them were suitable for endemic plants in Karst area.Therefore,it was of great practical significance to realize the sustainable development of medicinal plant resources and the control of rocky desertification for the development of Karst area in Guangxi.This paper has applied many useful methods,such as literature research,interview investigation and expert consultation and so on,to investigate and study the existing rocky desertification control model and the development and utilization of medicinal plants in Guangxi Karst area.It was found that there were the following problems in the existing models of rock desertification control:The structure choice was single and the ecological function was fragile;There was not enough funds to support it,and the governance area was small;The phenomenon of poverty was serious and the thought was backward;The implementation of governance measures was not in place and there was a lack of professional guidance;After afforestation,the management and protection were not in place,and the destruction has occured from time to time;It was not enough to sum up the propaganda of successful cases and can not give full play to its role.The problems existing in the development and utilization of medicinal plants were as follows:The utilization rate of resources was low and the development was unreasonable;The planting scale was low,and the efficient planting technology has not yet been popularized;The provenance was chaotic and the quality of medicinal materials was difficult to guarantee;The Development and Utilization of Medicinal plants was still in the Primary Product stage;The research force was weak and the work was not systematic or in-depth;The protection of resources was not strong enough and the consciousness of protection was not strong.In view of the problems existing in the control mode of rocky desertification,the following countermeasures were put forward:Adopt the compound planting mode,carry on the comprehensive management;Give full play to the leading role of the government and increase the investment of funds;Strengthen propaganda and education and raise the awareness of the whole people;Strengthen the training of science and technology and develop the leaders of science and technology;Optimize management measures and step up efforts to crack down on them;Strengthen the typical demonstration,adhere to the point to promote the face.In view of the problems existing in the development and utilization of medicinal plants,the following countermeasures were put forward:Improving the utilization rate of resources;Strengthen scientific and technological guidance and expand the scale of planting;Establish the resource bank of germline to improve the quality;Develop new products of medicinal plants;To study the causes of the danger of medicinal plants and to protect them scientifically;We will strengthen the work of nature reserves and strengthen education and publicity.Through the demonstration study of the three-dimensional composite planting mode of medicinal plants in two bases of Gongcheng County and Napo County,The development strategies of planting herbs,shrubs or small trees under eco-economic forest were summarized.The arbor can be selected from the rare medicinal plants such as Semiliquidambar cathayensis,Paraphlomis javanica,etc.The shrubs were selected from the traditional rare medicinal plants,such as Polygala fallax,Illicium difengpi,Mahonia breviracema,etc.The herb used rare medicinal plants:Salvia prionitis,Bletilla striata,Folium Baphicacanthi,etc. |
