The Research On The Relationship Between Urbanization And Carbon Emissions-taking Hunan Province As An Example

Urbanization development on the one hand is the overall population,labor level,urban scale and so on,on the other hand,economic development and people's living standards continue to improve.However,while urbanization is developing,it also brings with it the problem of rapid increase of carbon emissions.For example,Hunan Province,as an important part of China's rising strategy,has brought about high energy consumption and high emission in the process of urbanization.Obviously,there is a real relationship between urbanization and carbon emissions,and the relationship with the development of urbanization and carbon emissions changes are also constantly changing,so understand and grasp the dynamic relationship and the rules contained therein is very meaningful,this study is based on this background.This paper mainly from the following aspects of the relationship between urbanization and carbon emissions in Hunan province:(1)According to the principle of Kaya identities,from the impact of carbon emissions of total population,industrial structure,energy consumption intensity,the four major factors such as per capita gross domestic product,to study for more than ten years in Hunan province urbanization impact on carbon emissions.(2)Due to urbanization is a comprehensive concept,its research scope broad,this article choose close ties to the industrialization and urbanization process as the research object,the further research on the cause of increased co2 emissions.(3)From different angles and categories of industrialization in Hunan province and carbon decoupling state analysis,the industrial growth in gross domestic product(GDP)and the decoupling of the carbon emissions status,industry development and carbon emission elasticity of energy-saving and emission reduction of elastic decoupling index etc were analyzed.(4)According to the research data,using carbon decoupling theory,analysis of the relationship between urbanization development with the change of carbon dioxide emissions,and then study the actual situation of urbanization development of Hunan province and its decoupling of carbon emissions.Taking Hunan province as a case to explore the relationship between urbanization and carbon emissions,and hope that through the study on the current status of the carbon emission of Hunan province,to promote low-carbon development of urbanization in Hunan province,to provide some theoretical reference basis.
