In recent years,coal science and technology have made rapid progress,and large-scale coal machinery have been widely used in coal mining operations.Shearer is one of the important equipments to realize mechanization and modernization in coal mine.Due to the heavy responsibility of coal mine safety production,the production mine does not accept students to coal mining face for on-site learning and experimental teaching,resulting in students can not understand the coal mining process in harsh environment.With the development of computer technology,virtual simulation technology is being widely used in all fields.At present,many domestic universities have established some virtual simulation platforms according to their own research and teaching needs.In this paper,virtual simulation technology is used to develop a virtual simulation experimental platform for mechanical-electrical-hydraulic integrated automatic control of shearer mining operation.It can not only provide a safe and reliable experimental environment for students,but also has the merit such as novel experimental means,strong intuition and so on.Through a series of human-computer interaction operations on this platform,not only can students’ interest in learning be enhanced,but also can help students master the principles of knowledge skillfully.At present,the influence of coal seam load is seldom considered in the virtual simulation research of mining operation of shearer,and the pure three-dimensional virtual simulation is not precise enough to show the dynamic process of shearer operatio,and it is different from the actual work situation.The platform combines the three-dimensional virtual simulation of the mining process of shearer,electrical and hydraulic simulation systems and the specific working conditions,so that the platform can accurately and vividly show the dynamic process of shearer operation and the control process under the abrupt change of coal seam load.At the same time,the interactive design of the platform is emphasized.The main research contents are as follows:First,the three-dimensional model of the fully-mechanized face is created in Solid Works.Introduction of the three-dimensional model,establishment of subordinate relationship,establishment of motion constraint relationship,motion control and perspective configuration are completed by using the 3D picture toolkit of LabVIEW software,which can provide a highly realistic immersive experience environment for students.Secondly,analyzing the drum load,traction load and height adjusting cylinder load,the physical simulation models of speed regulating system of cutting unit and haulage part,hydraulic height adjusting system is built in MATLAB/Simulink,and the system simulation and analysis are carried out.Then,the 3D demo of shearer structure,assembly experimnt of shearer and other ancillary functions is developed based on LabVIEW.Compile the simulink models into dynamic link libraries through MATLAB RTW and Microsoft Visual Studio,and the interaction with dynamic link library is realized by using mixed programming technology in Model Interface Toolkit of LabVIEW.On this basis,speed regulation experiments of hauled-part and cutting unit,loading experiment for hydraulic height adjusting system are developed and designed.By completing the human-computer interaction experiments which involves mechanical,electrical and hydraulic three types,students can have a clearer understanding of the structure and working principle of each part of the shearer.Finally,the virtual simulation experiment of mechanical-electrical-hydraulic integrated automatic control of shearer mining operation is developed by analyzing shearer working conditions and speed control strategy under the abrupt coal seam load,which can accurately and vividly show the dynamic process of shearer operation and the control process under the abrupt change of coal seam load.Under the speed control strategy,the shearer can automatically adjust the working state according to the change of coal seam load,so that students can understand the working condition of the shearer,and familiar with the influence factors of shearer coal seam load and the principle of speed regulation under the abrupt change of coal seam load.
