Computer numerical controlled(CNC)machining has been recognized as a manufacturing process that is capable of producing metal parts with high precision and reliable quality,whereas many additive manufacturing methods are less capable in theserespects.The integral milling cutter is one of the most common cutting tools for mechanical engineering,which are used for surface treatment.To do this,software must be created that meets these high requirements,has nice interfaces and is easy to use.For my research work,I chose an integral milling cutter.I developed software that took into account the geometrical features of the integral milling cutter and made it easier to manufacture.For a start,existing research in this area was studied.They included articles and scientific works of many researchers both abroad and domestic.Firstly,research of the basic geometric parameters affecting the operation of the integral milling cutter.Integral end mills,their parametric structural design meaning: in order to maintain the relative positional relationship between the basic structure of the integral end mill circumferential edge,spiral groove,end edge and chip flute,the blade length,diameter,important geometric parameters such as spiral groove,blade back and forth angle,and helix angle are mathematically parameterized so that they can be arbitrarily adjusted within a limited range.Secondly,CNC grinding trajectory modeling of integral milling cutter.To implement this process,coordinate systems were established.The method of modeling the grinding trajectory of the front edge and back edge of the end blade is the same.Thirdly,generate of the mathematical model and toolpath.Functional analysis and overall design of CNC programming software was made.The overall design of CNC programming software includes integral end mill parameterization programming.After that post processing of tool position data was made.For realization of NC software for CNC was used the Microsoft Visual Studio.Based on the input structural parameters and structural data stored in the database,the graphic display is displayed to facilitate the user's design.The processing mainly deals with the input data and the data selected in the database through a certain algorithm to obtain the matrix data for the output of the numerical control code;the file input is the matrix obtained by the data processing,and the output is processed according to the set output method.Code into TXT file.The overall structure of the software is written in VC++.The program consists of several modules.And finally,simulation verification based on VERICUT.This part uses the NC program obtained by NC grinding automatic programming to carry out simulation verification and actual machining experiments.The simulation environment was built based on VERICUT CNC machining simulation software.After the simulation is completed,the simulation results can be directly tested by VERICUT's own measurement function to verify the accuracy of the simulation results.
