With the continuous development of modern manufacturing, to meet the demand oftanglesome surface processing, high precision special rotary type cutter began to bewidely used in automobile, mold, aerospace, machinery, electronics and other fields.Along with the high precision and special rotary tool widely used, the amount and typeof it is more and more big, the cutter blade is becoming more and more complicated. Inorder to meet the requirement of precision complex blade cutting tool production,multi-axis linkage CNC tool grinding machine developed. In terms of hardware andsoftware Multi-axis CNC tool grinder in the developed countries are relatively mature,but domestic did not have enough for this research, especially for CNC tool grindingmachine control software system development, but rarely reference data. In view of thedomestic manufacturer in urgent need of independent research and development of NCtool grinding machine, in response to market demand, this paper will research on NCtool grinding machine tool grinding automatic programming, which is part of operatingsoftware system.Firstly, CNC grinding trajectory modeling of integral flat-end mill. Grindingtrajectory modeling of side edge and end edge to integral flat-end mill. Side edgegrinding includes trajectory modeling of helical groove, rake face and flank face. Endedge grinding includes trajectory modeling of rake face and flank face. During grindingtrajectory modeling, given structure parameter of integral flat-end mill, use movingcoordinate system and geometry describing to gain cutter location data of grinding.Secondly, CNC grinding processing method analysis and parametric programmingof integral flat-end mill. Taking four-blade integral flat-end mill as an example, withinactual production, analyze processing method of each working step of integral flat-endmill. Based on the trajectory modeling calculation and the structure of five-axis CNCtool grinder, use Matlab to parametric programming.Finally, post processing, the simulation and the actual processing. Use mixedprogramming method of Matlab and VC++to post process cutter location data into NCprogram, used for the simulation and the actual processing. Based on VERICUTfive-axis CNC tool grinder simulation environment, simulate to verify NC programgenerated from automatically programming; Actually process on ANCA_tx7+aftersimulation.
